Jamie Foxx Dumped Katie Holmes: Afraid Tom Cruise Will Go ‘Collateral’ On Him?
Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes parted their ways because the Booty Call star was afraid of Tom Cruise.
Radar Online recently reported that Foxx has dumped Holmes after she kept on pushing him to take their romance to another level. Suri’s mother wanted the star to officially acknowledge their relationship but the star chose otherwise.
“Jamie is tired of being pressured by [Katie Holmes] into going public,” a source told the outlet. “He’s asked for a few months out and made no promise he’ll be available after that.”
“It’s heartbreaking for [Katie Holmes], who would marry him in a heartbeat if he were keen,” the insider revealed. “She’s hoping he’ll change his mind and come running back, which to be fair he’s done numerous times before.”
Well, a recent update suggests that Jamie is afraid of Tom and that’s why he ended his three-year relationship with Katie.
According to Hollywood Life, the 48-year-old Foxx thought to end his alleged relationship with Holmes because he thought that Cruise might go crazy.
“Jamie loves Katie so much and he prides himself on keeping his relationship with her private. That said, if and when he does go there and put a ring on her finger, he’s not going to do it publicly. The last thing he wants is Tom going all Collateral on him. Jamie doesn’t know Tom’s crazy side and he likes to keep it that way. He’s heard war stories from Katie about what it’s like to be his bad side and he doesn’t want that drama.”
This, apparently, is not the first time when the rumors about Jamie and Katie has surfaced in the recent past. Earlier than this, another report from Hollywood Life suggested that the rumored couple are expecting a child. A source close to the star couple revealed that they are extremely happy about the news and after ending her marriage with Cruise, Holmes is finally enjoying her life.
“They’re both such great parents, and they’ve been talking about starting a family together for awhile now. They added that fans should expect an announcement from the couple within in next couple months. They’re slowly coming around to the idea of allowing their relationship to be known but they want to keep it private for as long as they can. They’re so in love, and keeping it all quiet makes Katie that much more crazy about Jamie. She feels like she’s hit gold with her new husband.”
After the split rumors surfaced online, Katie was recently spotted in Los Angeles. Daily Mail recently shared a series of Katie’s photos on the sidewalk of an L.A. street.
“The pretty brunette wore her long hair down and natural as she accessorized with a pair of designer sunglasses from Sunday Somewhere,” the outlet revealed.
Over the past few months, a lot has been said and published about Katie and Jamie. But the stars and their representatives have always chosen to debunk all the nonsense about their personal lives. Jamie has blamed the social media world for invading their privacy and Katie has always denied her association with any star after her divorce with Tom.
“There’s definitely an awareness of the fact that people have camera phones, and that your privacy is sometimes invaded, but that’s something that I think everyone has had to adjust to,” she says. “Even early on, when I was a young actor and all of a sudden people knew who I was, my dad told me, ‘Don’t let that change how you live your life.’ I’ve always sort of approached it that way. You have to continue to do the things you want to do and not let outside forces dictate.”
Katie and Jamie have never confirmed their relationship or their split, so it is safe to say that all the reports about them are nothing but speculations.
