Bethenny Frankel Calls Trump Protests ‘Moronic,’ ‘RHONY’ Star Blasts Fans On Social Media
Bethenny Frankel is outspoken at best on most days. She has never stayed quiet about things she has an opinion on, including politics. She rejoined the cast of the Real Housewives of New York two seasons ago and has been raising hell there ever since. Her in-your-face attitude hasn’t meshed well with the world, but she makes no apologies for who she is at all. Filming for the new season of the show has started, and Frankel just couldn’t keep her mouth closed about the events happening in our country over the last 48 hours.

Yesterday there were several anti-Trump protests in major cities around the country, and it angered Bethenny Frankel. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Bethenny Frankel called the protests “moronic” and went on and on about the how they were not helping anything. People were out on the streets of New York City, Chicago, and other cities yelling, screaming, and burning flags because Donald Trump won the election. In fact, it appeared that Frankel was worried they would burn the city down. She tweeted that Hillary Clinton won in New York, so the protests were invalid anyway. So much was said by her, and many fans felt polarized by her words.
If you have ever watched Bethenny Frankel on the Real Housewives of New York, you will know her mouth is almost uncontrollable. She says what she is thinking without much consideration about how it will come across or if it will offend anyone. Fans of the show have called her a “mean girl” and a “bully,” but she doesn’t take any of that to heart. Frankel makes no apologies for who she is and what she says. There is a lot of conviction behind what comes out of her mouth. Her thoughts are her own, even if the way they are presented could be deemed offensive or aggressive.
It is unclear whether or not Bethenny Frankel actually supported Donald Trump or if she was just concerned about what was happening in her city. Things were scary last night across the country, and over 100 people were arrested at the protests that turned violent. The burning of the flag upset a lot of Americans. Many are feeling like we should stand united while others are still using hashtags that will keep us divided. Frankel is raising a young daughter in this world, and she is looking to preserve what she can for her generation. There is only so much she can take and last night put Bethenny Frankel over the top.
There is a clear divide across the country, and Bethenny Frankel called it out on social media. She was tweeting her thoughts on the protests and giving pointers on why they shouldn’t be doing what they are doing. In one specific tweet, she commented about mourning and being angry versus burning things and cursing, and she said they are two different things. Frankel clearly could see both sides of what was happening and didn’t want to keep quiet anymore. Once you get her started, it is the end for anyone who is within earshot.
This isn’t the first time Bethenny Frankel spoke about something people didn’t want to hear, and it won’t be the last. With the new season of the Real Housewives of New York filming, there is going to be plenty of her to go around. She did receive some hate for what she posted, but it didn’t seem to phase her. Bethenny Frankel has been through a lot in the last five years, and a little thing like Donald Trump becoming the leader of the free world isn’t going to put a damper on her parade.
