Katie Holmes Steps Out In Los Angeles After Jamie Foxx Split [Report]

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly split after dating on the down low for three years.

Following rumors of a wedding and rumors of pregnancy, Katie Holmes stepped out in Los Angeles just weeks after it was reported that her former partner, Foxx, broke off their relationship due to her desire to go public with their romance.

Earlier this week, the Daily Mail shared a photo of Katie Holmes walking on the sidewalk of an L.A. street in fitted jeans and a light gray sweater.

“The pretty brunette wore her long hair down and natural as she accessorized with a pair of designer sunglasses from Sunday Somewhere,” the outlet revealed to readers, adding that the actress was without her 10-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.

During the outing, Katie Holmes went makeup-free as she has been known to do quite frequently and, according to the report, she “looked pensive” as she was seen walking around by herself. The outlet also noted that the actress might have been in need of some alone time due to the recent end of her romance with Foxx.

Katie Holmes was also seen out in Los Angeles earlier this month. As the Daily Mail also revealed, the actress was seen running errands in Calabasas with her hair in a messy bun and dark polish on her nails.

“[Katie Holmes is] taking a breather after an intense period of filming for The Kennedys Part 2 in which she plays Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis as well as serving as producer on the cable TV series,” the report explained at the time.

News of Katie Holmes’ alleged split from Jamie Foxx hit the web weeks ago.

“Jamie is tired of being pressured by [Katie Holmes] into going public,” a source told Radar Online at the end of October. “He’s asked for a few months out and made no promise he’ll be available after that.”

His romance with Katie Holmes was appealing for the actor when it was “super-discreet,” but Jamie Foxx “hated the scrutiny” once the public learned of their alleged relationship, the source explained. Meanwhile, Katie Holmes was reportedly left heartbroken over the end of the romance.

“It’s heartbreaking for [Katie Holmes], who would marry him in a heartbeat if he were keen,” the insider revealed. “She’s hoping he’ll change his mind and come running back, which to be fair he’s done numerous times before.”

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were first linked to one another in 2013 after they seemingly hit it off during a party in The Hamptons. However, a short time later, their relationship was shot down, and they appeared to continue with life as usual. Then, months later, rumors regarding their alleged romance began swirling once again, and eventually, a photo of them holding hands with one another was shared by Us Weekly magazine.

“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” a mutual friend of the alleged couple told the magazine. “[Katie Holmes]’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”

Katie Holmes was married to Tom Cruise, the father of her young daughter, from 2006 until 2012.

As for Foxx’s thoughts of Katie Holmes, he reportedly referred to the actress as “my girl” — as in, “My girl is calling.”

Despite news of their recent split, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have remained completely silent about their romance for the past several weeks and haven’t been seen together at all in recent months.
