Priyanka Chopra: ‘Watch What Happens Live’ Debut, Priyanka And Meghan Markle Relax By The Pool
Priyanka Chopra was interviewed by Andy Cohen, alongside Scandal actor, Tony Goldwyn. Chopra has been making rounds on popular American late-night television shows. Now, the actress is in New York and has been busy shooting for Season 2 of Quantico. Priyanka has come a long way since her debut in Bollywood’s The Hero: The Love Story Of A Spy. On Watch What Happens Live, Chopra suggested there should be a crossover between Scandal and Quantico. Priyanka said her FBI agent character, Alex Parrish, and Goldwyn’s character who portrays the President of the United States, Fitz Grant, would surely make a lethal combo.

Priyanka’s dark evening look on WWHL consisted of a black tube dress and a dark matte lip color. This look was opposite from the feminine, white, lace dress she wore on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, while downing a shot of tequila.

Chopra’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show caused discontent amongst fans. Many on social media thought Emmy award-winning host, Ellen, was rude to Priyanka.
“People were so excited to cause you’re such a huge star, and you’re beautiful, and you can act. That doesn’t happen often.”
Chopra was also tagged in a photo uploaded to Twitter by Meghan Markle. The photo captured the two actresses relaxing by the pool. Markle, the Suits actress, was confirmed by Kensington Palace to be Prince Harry’s new girlfriend, according to E! Online.
In a recent episode of Quantico, Priyanka speaks Hindi, the language of India. In the process of rescuing her tied up co-star, Chopra utters a few sentences in her native language. Chopra speaking Hindi on a popular U.S. television show was a proud moment for Priyanka’s global fans.

Priyanka, a former pageant queen, is currently named the eighth highest-paid actress, according to Forbes. Bollywood fans consider Priyanka’s success in America as a major accomplishment. The U.S. has been warming up to the Bollywood actress rather quickly.
Crossing barriers is exactly what Priyanka wishes to do. Chopra hopes the film industry will welcome talent from all over the world, regardless of language or cultural barriers.
“The Hindi film industry is a testament to that. We speak only Hindi, but we premiere in Germany and Japan. Our films do phenomenally well there. We transcend the barriers of language and culture. We welcome you in. I think that’s what art should be, and I hope America reaches that place.”
There are things Priyanka isn’t willing to do for Hollywood fame. Priyanka was interviewed by Anupama Chopra of Beneath the Surface on YouTube. Anupama said American television shows cross lines Hindi movies do not. For example, Priyanka has never sworn on screen. Anupama asks Priyanka if there are other things she will not do for the camera.
“Yeah, nudity. For sure I wouldn’t do. Like, never. Also, I play bold parts but I don’t like a lot of skin show. I don’t know how to explain it. Like I was always in pantsuits but the intensity in the part was sexual. I don’t have to dress it [provocatively]. I do it for magazine covers because it’s glamorous and pretty. One of the big reasons I did the show with ABC was because they’re Disney. So there’s only that much for the American standards that we can do on the show, which is pretty much as much as in Hindi films. There’s a difference between wearing a bikini and a bra and I understand that. Those lines are important to me.”

Priyanka and Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Swift’s ex, hit it off at the 2016 Emmy Awards and were flirting with one another, according to E! Online.
“After I twirled once, I was twirling all night… Then, onstage, Tom made me twirl, and I was only twirling.”
On The Jimmy Fallon Show, Priyanka was complimented on the chic, red, Jason Wu dress she wore to the Emmy’s. The dress made Chopra the star of the red carpet.
“I walked out with this big train, and I did it for the first time, because I was like, ‘Oh, it’s so pretty, and I feel princess-y… And after I twirled once, I was twirling all night.”
