Selena Gomez Is ‘Miserable’ And Feeling Like Hell In Rehab Amid Justin Bieber Romance Rumors
Selena Gomez may not be doing well as her Lupus treatment continues in Tenesssee.
As rumors swirl regarding Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, visiting her in rehab, other reports have spoken of the singer’s alleged hardships and claimed that she is miserable and feeling like hell as she attempts to work through her issues.
“[Selena Gomez] absolutely hates it there,” a source recently told In Touch Weekly. “When the actual effects of detoxing hit her body, she started complaining.”
Selena Gomez announced on August 30 that she would be taking a break from her Revival World Tour to focus on her mental illness and revealed she was struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.

In a statement to People Magazine, the singer expressed her issues and said she hoped her announcement would encourage others to face their own struggles head-on.
“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” the singer said in a statement. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”
At the time her announcement was made, Selena Gomez was in the midst of her Revival World Tour. The announcement also came just two weeks after the singer engaged in a very public feud with Justin Bieber on Instagram.
“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues,” she continued.
Weeks before her statement was released, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were involved in a fight after he threatened to make his account private due to backlash regarding his then-girlfriend Sofia Richie. Following his post, Gomez told Bieber that his fans have been there since the start and advised him against sharing relationship photos on social media. In response, Bieber suggested Selena Gomez was using him to get the spotlight on her.
When all was said and done, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber had both accused the other of cheating and after the dispute was made public, Bieber erased his account from Instagram.

On November 8, Headlines & Global News shared news of Bieber’s alleged rehab visit and noted that Gomez wasn’t doing well. However, despite the ongoing rumors regarding Bieber’s alleged support of his ex-girlfriend, there has been no evidence of the singer spending time in Tennessee. In fact, he’s currently in Europe tending to his Purpose World Tour.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber began dating in 2010 and continued to date until 2012. Since then, the former couple has spent tons of time together and earlier this year, Gomez was photographed at Bieber’s show in Los Angeles. Around the same time, Selena Gomez was featured in an Instagram photo shared by Bieber in which the two of them were seen kissing one another in a swimming pool. In the caption of the photo, which sparked rumors of a reunion, Bieber wrote, “Feels,” and in the comments section, Selena Gomez wrote, “Perfect.”
