It’s Election Day 2016, the day everyone has waited for and some thought would never arrive. For those who’ve wondered who the new president will be, the wait will soon be over. Will Hillary Clinton mark history by becoming the first woman president and will she and president Bill Clinton be the first married couple to ever hold office? Or will a billionaire reality television star and real estate mogul defy the odds and prove that you don’t have to be a politician in order to become president? Everyone is covering the elections tonight and providing real-time updates. There are several ways, however, in which you can keep your finger on the political pulse tonight and make sure you’re in the know. After all, who doesn’t want to be the first to know who the new president is?

MSNBC began their Election Day coverage at 9 a.m. ET. Their late night analysis is Election Night 2016. MSNBC’s coverage runs until 6 a.m. ET when Morning Joe airs.
