Miley Cyrus On Pansexuality, Why The Kardashians Are ‘Better Than Trump,’ And Why Woody Allen Is A ‘Great Dad’

Miley Cyrus has always been quite vocal and confident about her views on life. She has undoubtedly come a long way since she debuted in the entertainment industry as a Disney child star. Miley Cyrus’ role in Disney’s Hannah Montana made her so famous that she was automatically cast in the lead role when the Disney television series was made into a full-length feature film. Besides acting, Cyrus has established herself as a famous pop star, releasing five studio albums.

Over the course of her short career, the singer/songwriter/actress has developed not only a professional outlook but also a broader outlook on life. The actress loves displaying her bold ideas through her stage costumes, which have often generated controversy because of their perceived sexual nature.

The president of the U.S.-based Parent Television Council raised objections against the famous young actress hosting the MTV VMA awards because parents had expressed concerns that Cyrus’ comments could be too “sexually explicit.” However, Miley Cyrus has never been deterred by the controversy surrounding her stage antics, and she continues to boldly air her views on sexuality. According to Billboard, the singer has revealed that she’s “pansexual,” even though people consider her to be non-neutral.

“Once I understood my gender more, which was unassigned, then I understood my sexuality more. I was like, ‘Oh – that’s why I don’t feel straight and I don’t feel gay. It’s because I’m not.'”

It appears that Miley Cyrus’ revelation has created quite a stir, because curious fans have already started looking up the meaning of the word, and the number of related searches on the Merriam-Webster website has spiked. It’s natural for fans to be confused because Miley hasn’t commented on her sexual preferences or her feelings. Irrespective of expert opinions on her statement, Cyrus continues to go on dates with Liam Hemsworth, and the two have rekindled their on-again, off-again romance.

Miley Cyrus’s pansexuality may not be relevant to the audiences of The Voice, NBC’s reality singing competition in which Miley is one of the judges for Season 11. She certainly comes across as an enthusiastic judge, one who cheers her team members and gives them full support when required. However, Cosmopolitan reports that the talented singer has a sentimental side because she cried when she failed to save a talented participant from being eliminated.

In other news, Miley Cyrus is featuring in Woody Allen’s Crisis in Six Scenes, an Amazon television series in which she plays the role of a 1960s hippie who changes a conservative family’s outlook through her radical ideas. Cyrus’s involvement in Woody’s project came at a time when the veteran filmmaker’s adopted daughter accused the Manhattan director of sexually abusing her.

However, Billboard reports that Miley Cyrus is unaffected by the accusations, and she spoke about the respect she has for the Hollywood director.

“Until I know someone and I know their story, I never really judge anyone. I never saw him be anything but an incredible person and a really great dad. People might slam me for saying that.”

On another front, Miley Cyrus is turning out to be a true supporter of America’s Democratic Party, and she’s urging Bernie Sanders’ supporters to vote for Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton defeated Bernie Sanders and secured the Democratic Party nomination for the U.S. presidential election, and it seems that the singer is specifically addressing Bernie Sanders’ supporters who have been irked by Clinton’s nomination.

As the granddaughter of Ronald Cyrus, a Democratic politician, it seems natural that Miley Cyrus would be a democratic supporter. According to CNN, Cyrus recently made an anti-Trump remark by comparing the Republican presidential candidate with the Kardashians.

“The Kardashians are better than Trump because they are just trying to be famous and not trying to run the country.”
