Lisa Vanderpump Reveals What Made Her Change Her Mind About Hiring Brittany Cartwright

Last season on Vanderpump Rules, the viewers saw Brittany Cartwright come in and talk to Lisa Vanderpump trying to get a job at SUR. Brittany got the interview because she is Jax Taylor’s girlfriend, but Lisa didn’t hire her. Brittany didn’t even bring in a resume. Instead, she ended up working at Hooters, but this season on Vanderpump Rules, you will see that Brittany is now working at SUR. TV Deets shared about why Lisa Vanderpump says that she changed her mind and ended up hiring Brittany as a waitress.

Lisa Vanderpump actually has really good things to say about Brittany now, though. Here is what she had to say about hiring her to work at SUR.

“Well, she became part of the show and obviously it’s great for the restaurant to have people that legitimately need to work, and she really wanted to work. We were a couple of waitresses down, and I thought, ‘Why not give her a shot?’ She’s actually fantastic. She really is there four or five nights a week. She’s lovely – I have never met a girl like her. I don’t know if it’s where she’s from, but [fakes a Kentucky accent] ‘everything is absolutely so nice!'”

It does sound like Brittany Cartwright somehow found a way to win over Lisa Vanderpump. That is hard to do, but Brittany doesn’t seem to get involved in all of the drama like some of the other girls. Plus, a lot of the girls on the show aren’t working four or five nights a week at SUR anymore.

Lisa Vanderpump did talk about one more thing that viewers will see this season on Vanderpump Rules. Everyone will finally get to see the big wedding of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney. Viewers got to see their proposal, and now it is time for the wedding. Check out what Lisa had to say about this big day.

“[A wedding] is always a gift in reality television because there are so many components and so many people involved. But then you’ve got the bachelorette parties and the bachelor parties and the choice of bridesmaids, the dress, and the this and the that. But also the relationship between the two of them was a little tumultuous, shall we say, which was a shame. They’re a lovely couple. It became a little too emotional at some points. It all takes different twists and turns, for sure.”

People shared that fans of Lisa Vanderpump will be shocked to hear that she almost didn’t return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. She did return, but Lisa says that there is a reason that she almost decided to call it quits and move on. Lisa shared saying, “I was reticent because I felt the last season was just so aggressive towards me. I’m not a victim in it because I did hit back and the audience were great and really supported me, but it just went down a road I just thought, ‘I don’t think I can do this anymore.” For some reason, though, Lisa Vanderpump changed her mind and is back once again. Lisa shared that she has already done 250 episodes of reality television in her lifetime. That is a lot, but for now, it doesn’t look like Lisa has any plans to stop. The fans love her and don’t want her going anywhere.
