Did Jacqueline Laurita Really Call The IRS To Tip Them Off About Teresa Giudice’s Fraud Scheme?

Jacqueline Laurita joined this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in hopes that she could make peace with Teresa Giudice. For a while, it looked promising, and the two friends actually got along. Viewers felt it was just like old times, and it was nice to experience while it lasted. But it didn’t take long for Jacqueline to ask about Teresa’s legal case, something that she had been very vocal about. Teresa did not want to discuss her legal case with anyone.

According to a new Bravo report, Jacqueline Laurita was ready to fight on last night’s reunion special, and she was ready to confront Teresa about the drama that went down on this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. And the accusations quickly started flying, including accusations about cheating, overspending, and being a stripper. While viewers were not interested in hearing about the stripper stories again, they were shocked when Giudice accused Jacqueline of setting her up.

“You set me up!” Teresa screamed at Jacqueline Laurita, hinting that she and Caroline Manzo had called the IRS to share the news that they had fraudulent activities in Joe Giudice’s business.

In other words, Giudice blamed Jacqueline Laurita for her 11-month sentence, because she’s convinced that her former friend set her up and was reaching out to her once she got back from prison because she had a guilty conscience.

This accusation was shocking, and people wanted to know what she was talking about, as Teresa hadn’t actually blamed Jacqueline for her legal problems before. Fans were shocked because this was the first time that this accusation was made public.

Bravo wanted to know how viewers felt about the entire thing, and the network presented a poll. As of this morning, the poll had gotten 5,492 votes and the results were overwhelming. Thirty-six percent believed that Jacqueline Laurita had indeed set up Giudice and called the IRS, while 64 percent of viewers don’t believe that she had anything to do with it.

In her blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jacqueline Laurita pointed out that she really wanted to get along with Giudice. She’s convinced that if she got a chance to talk to Teresa alone, it may actually have worked out between them. Laurita keeps blaming Melissa Gorga for their troubles, as she feels that Melissa kept getting in the way.

“If I sat with Teresa, I think she would know that the information I know could have only come from someone deep within her camp. I can say with all honesty that it was Melissa, as recently as while Teresa was in prison and for months after she got out, who fed me private information about Teresa and also how she felt about others, as well as how she felt about me. Melissa kept me in the loop all of the time…. (just like she did with Danielle)…and I wasn’t the only person she was talking to,” Jacqueline Laurita wrote on her blog for Bravo.

“I wonder what she was busy telling Teresa all that time behind my back. I did see some of it. All this deceiving and plotting just to get that ‘Ethel’ status? Trust me, she can have that spot. It’s absolutely not appealing to me anymore. I’m better than that. I’ve moved on and up from that,” Jacqueline Laurita continues on her blog.
