Kim Kardashian Anxiety Issues: Kim Has Reveals That She Has Been Going Through Anxiety Since The Paris Robbery


Kim Kardashian revealed that she has been experiencing anxiety since the Paris robbery. The reality superstar opened up about the issue during the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians which was aired on Sunday.

Kim Kardashian has been holding off any talks about how she has been doing since the Paris robbery incident, but this time she opened up and revealed how she feels. During the KUWTK episode, the reality superstar revealed that she has been experiencing anxiety, especially when driving. Kim was explaining this to a therapist who had gone to see her and her sister Kendall, whom has also been struggling with anxiety and panic attacks.

“I think about it all the time, it drives me crazy. I just want to get passed my anxiety and live life… I never had anxiety and I want to take back my life,”explained Kim.

Kim’s sister, Kendall, also explained that she has anxiety issues, especially when flying and that she also experiences panic attacks. Kim took an interest in her sister’s case and encouraged her to practice meditation ahead of her upcoming trips. Kim also revealed that she was determined to get over the situation. They took action and decided to go on a drive and utilize the advice that they had received from their therapist.

During the entire drive, Kim appeared uneasy though she managed to go through with it. She took her therapist’s advice about not letting her fears rule her. The therapist advised Kim not to react to her fears but instead focus on accepting and tolerating them.

Kim K also told her BFF, Jonathan Cheban, about her anxiety issues during their lunch meeting, which was also documented by the Sunday episode of KUWTK. Kris Jenner also visited Kim at her house, and she also admitted that she has noticed that her daughter seems to be going through a lot of stress lately. However, the stress could simply be associated with Kim’s busy lifestyle, which involves a lot of work while she juggles with her family life as a mother and a wife.

Despite this, it is clear that Kim has indeed been affected a lot by the Paris incident where she was gagged, tied up and robbed at gunpoint. Prior to that, she was handling her busy work schedule and her family life with ease. This suggests that the ordeal was quite traumatic for Kim and she is still having a hard time getting over it. After all, she is human and anyone who goes through such a situation would also be disturbed or uncomfortable for some time.

“My dad lived his life to the fullest and now I have all these photos I can look back at. I know he never lived in fear and I don’t want to ruin all of the memories for my kids because of my own anxiety,” Kim told her mother as they were looking through some old photos.

The two were looking at a photo album containing photos of the late Robert Kardashian, whom passed away in 2003. Kim stated that the last thing her father said to her was she was strong and she would be okay. Thus, Kim K feels obligated to live up to the words of her father and is, therefore, determined to overcome the anxiety.

Michelle Massi, Kim’s therapist, stated that Kim may be better equipped to handle the issues she has been facing, especially now that she is more aware of the root cause of the problem. Both Kim and her Kardashian sister have decided to deal with their anxiety issues by taking up a meditation and mindfulness class.
