Black Friday 2016 is finally in full swing, and ads from major retailers have been leaking over the past week. Despite strong circulars from Kohl’s, JCPenney, Sam’s Club, Costco, and BJ’s, the largest retailers — notably Walmart, Best Buy, and Target — have all been quiet. While they still may hold out a few more days, it is likely all of their ads will be leaked by Friday.

2016 Staples Black Friday Ad
Leaked on November 6, the 15-page Staples Black Friday ad features an assortment of desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, office furniture, and accessories. Staples will be closed on Thanksgiving this year, which is a policy that they implemented in 2015. Regardless, their online store will remain open on Turkey Day, and shoppers can make purchases and pick their order up anytime on Black Friday. Here are a few important facts about the sale.

Leaked on November 5, the 2-page Bed Bath & Beyond Black Friday ad only has a few deals this year. This is nothing new for them, as their ad last year was only a single page. Thanksgiving hours are going to depend on your specific location, but doors open on Black Friday at 6 a.m. Here are a few important facts about the sale.

2016 Michaels Black Friday Ad
Leaked on November 6, the 14-page Michaels Black Friday ad has an assortment of holiday-related items to get your home ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The sale begins early online on Thanksgiving at 4 a.m. EST. Retail stores will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving. On Black Friday, they will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. They are also extending the sale through Saturday, and they will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Here are a few important facts about the sale.

Walmart Black Friday 2016 Ad Update
While the Walmart ad has not yet leaked, there is strong evidence that it will be released by the end of this upcoming week. Here are the dates over the past few years that Walmart’s ad has been released.
- 2012 – November 8
- 2013 – November 11
- 2014 – November 11
- 2015 – November 11
This upcoming week covers all of those dates, so Walmart’s ad should be out by Friday, November 11. Since Black Friday is earlier this year, November 25 compared to November 27 last year, it is unlikely Walmart would push their ad release back another week.
Additionally, Walmart has already warned BestBlackFriday.com to not post their ad early. Traditionally, this notice comes a few days before the actual ad is going to be released, so it should be here soon. Expect it to come in the very early morning hours on November 10, with the possibility of it being pushed back to a little after midnight on November 11.
As a reminder, Walmart’s website is currently hosting an “Early Bird” Pre-Black Friday sale, but you are better off waiting until Thanksgiving or Black Friday for the best deals.
