The comic book TV world on The CW has been really exciting with the addition of Supergirl for its second season, but some of the old favorites are just heating up. So many things have been hinted at on this Season 3 of The Flash with little clues being dropped all over the place. Well, one thing that the fans have been waiting for is the transformation of Caitlin Snow into the evil and villainous Killer Frost which is going to happen soon.
Episode after episode in this season of The Flash has dropped small hints about something big happening to Caitlin. Nothing has ever happened more than something here or there, but this past week’s episode proved that before anyone knows it, Killer Frost is coming.

Superhero Hype has reported that the official synopsis for an upcoming episode of The Flash has been revealed and well, it’s blatant. The episode is simply titled “Killer Frost” and it is set to air on The CW on November 22.
Here is the official synopsis of Episode 7 of Season 3 of The Flash.
“Caitlin uses her powers to save Barry (Grant Gustin) but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian (Tom Felton) and battling both The Flash and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) have a heart to heart talk.”
Obviously, it’s finally time for Caitlin to experience her inner evil and see what it’s like for her to be a meta-human.
The interesting thing about this episode is that it is going to be directed by the genius behind Clerks, Kevin Smith, as reported by Comic Book Movie. It’s going to be a very tense episode as Killer Frost will have to face off with both The Flash and Vibe, but will they be able to save their friend?
One has to wonder just how far the series creators are going to take this new direction for Caitlin and if she will become a permanent villain. She has always been such a valued ally for the team and it would be a shame for her to go pure bad girl, but it sure seems like things are going that way.
IGN raises a good point that Savitar and Dr. Alchemy have been locked in as the primary villains for Season 3 of The Flash, but could Killer Frost take over at midseason? There has been way too much build-up for Caitlin’s transformation, so it’s hard to think she will be a one- or two-episode villain.
Things are seriously heating up (no pun intended) for Barry and the rest of the heroes on The Flash, but they’re about to be cooled off in a hurry.
Thanksgiving week is going to be big for the comic book TV shows on The CW as the day before this episode of The Flash will be another big debut. On Supergirl, a new villain is heading into town as Supergirl will come face-to-face with Cyborg Superman. All of this is leading up to the four-series mega crossover event to intertwine all of the shows.
Killer Frost is coming.
Season 3 of The Flash has probably been one of the best yet, and that is hard to say with the first two seasons being as good as they were. So many new faces have shown up and some familiar ones as well which have made things even more interesting. Now, it finally seems as if Caitlin Snow’s long-awaited transformation into the dangerous and evil Killer Frost is a lot closer than anyone thinks.
