Selena Gomez Banned From Speaking To Justin Bieber After Instagram Fight And Rehab?

Selena Gomez banned from having contact with Justin Bieber?

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have had a strained relationship for years, and according to new reports, Gomez’s family doesn’t want her having any contact with him during her stay in rehab.

Since Selena Gomez announced she was experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, rumors have been swirling in regard to a possible reunion between Gomez and Bieber, but if Gomez’s family has anything to do with it, a reconciliation won’t happen.

On November 3, Headlines & Global News claimed Selena Gomez’s family was doing what they could to keep distance between the singer and her former boyfriend, who publicly feuded in August on Instagram.

“Family of Selena Gomez is doing everything in their power to keep Justin Bieber away from her after the meltdown,” the outlet claimed. “They are asking him to stay away from her since she is currently trying to get better given the circumstances of her condition.”

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber sparked rumors of a possible reunion at the end of last year when they were seen together at a hotel in Beverly Hills, where Bieber was caught serenading Gomez. Weeks later, however, Bieber moved on with Hailey Baldwin and the couple was seen enjoying the holidays with Bieber’s family in Anguilla.

Although Bieber and Baldwin enjoyed a few weeks together, he ultimately reached out to Selena Gomez with a public post on Instagram. In his post, Bieber shared a photo of himself and Selena Gomez kissing in a swimming pool and in the caption, he wrote, “Feels.” In response, Selena Gomez sent a comment back to him, which read, “Perfect.”

Following the social media exchange, many fans believed it was only a matter of time before the former couple rekindled their romance, but even after Gomez showed her support for Bieber at one of his Los Angeles shows, things between them appeared to go nowhere and a short time later, Bieber was linked to Kourtney Kardashian and Nicola Peltz.

The Headlines & Global News report went on to reveal that there have been rumors claiming Bieber has visited Selena Gomez in the weeks since she entered a Tennessee treatment center. However, there’s been no evidence of any such thing and Bieber appears to have been in Europe since early October.

Selena Gomez announced on August 30 that she was canceling her remaining Revival World Tour shows and would be stepping out of the spotlight to focus on her mental health.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena Gomez told People Magazine in a statement. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues,” she continued.

Selena Gomez has been photographed several times since entering treatment, but Bieber has been nowhere in sight. Meanwhile, the future of the canceled Revival World Tour dates remains unconfirmed.
