Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Attend CMAs, She Blasts Haters On Instagram

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East made their second red carpet appearance earlier this week, but unfortunately, their public outing garnered backlash on social media.

After Miranda Lambert shared a photo of herself and her boyfriend on Instagram, the 32-year-old old country singer was flooded with hateful comments about East and their relationship. In response, Miranda Lambert posted a second photo and addressed the mean messages.

On Friday morning, November 4, after seeing the backlash her photo with East received, Miranda Lambert shared a “really personal” photo of herself on a horse. In the caption, she took aim at the “cowardly” people who are wasting their time sending hate to her from behind their computer screens.

“Last night I was all dolled up and ‘out on the town’ with my sweet man at the CMA awards in Nashville. I was excited about the night and posted a picture,” Miranda Lambert recalled.

In the photo shared, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East were seen posing on the red carpet, with Lambert in a stunning low-cut black gown and East in a matching black suit.

Although Miranda Lambert may not have expected that so many fans and followers would weigh in on the photo with negative comments, that is exactly what they did. After realizing what had happened, Miranda Lambert expressed her shock and disappointment.

“Just now when I looked I realized so many comments were judgmental and negative. Cowardly people hiding behind a keyboard or a cell phone writing their useless comments about our eyes and clothes and body language. What a bunch of bull s**t,” she wrote.

Miranda Lambert then thanked her fans and followers for reminding her why she spends the majority of her time offline reading books, writing songs, and enjoying time with animals and people she trusts and loves.

Miranda Lambert’s joint appearance with Anderson East comes just weeks before the couple is due to celebrate their one-year anniversary. As fans will recall, the couple began dating in December of last year after Lambert and her former husband, Blake Shelton, parted ways.

In July of last year, after four years of marriage, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton confirmed the end of their relationship and months later, he went public with a romance with Gwen Stefani, whom he was starring alongside on The Voice Season 9. Following the announcement of their relationship, Shelton attended the 2015 Country Music Awards, which was also attended by Miranda Lambert. Then, afterward, he stepped out with Stefani at an after party for the event.

While Miranda Lambert kept a low profile for the first several months after her divorce from Shelton, she ultimately confirmed her romance with East with an Instagram photo of the two of them in January of this year. In the photo, Miranda Lambert and East were seen laying next to one another with a red flannel blanket over the top of them.

A while after going public, a source spoke about Miranda Lambert’s relationship with East, claiming the couple had a “crazy connection” to one another.

“Whenever they are together they act like two free spirits…[Miranda Lambert] adores Anderson. They understand each other. Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn’t felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers,” a source told E! News in April.

“Anderson and Miranda are serious,” the source added. “They have met both sides of their families. Both their families love what they have. They seem like they are in such a great place.”
