‘Dr. Phil’ Guest 19-Year-Old Haley Believes She’s Pregnant With Baby Jesus

A recent guest on the Dr. Phil show believes she’s pregnant with baby Jesus. Haley, 19, claimed on Wednesday’s episode of Dr. Phil that she’s going to give birth soon, and she’s carrying the Messiah. The teen showed off her “baby bump” to Dr. Phil viewers on Wednesday, and even had an ultrasound done on Thursday’s episode of Dr. Phil.

Haley, who knows her pregnancy is real, says she’s gained 22 pounds, so far, in the last nine months. However, Haley’s family, along with her church, question whether or not the teen is really pregnant. Haley’s own mother, Kristi, calls her “delusional” and a “compulsive liar,” saying that Haley makes obvious false claims all the time.

In fact, Kristi said on the Dr. Phil show that Haley had “lost her mind” thinking that she’s pregnant with Jesus Christ.

“The first time I heard her say that, she actually was saying it was Jesus Christ in her stomach. I looked at her like she had lost her mind. She was just going off into a delusional tailspin.”

But Haley really does genuinely think she’s pregnant, with the recent weight gain, plus a large, rounded stomach. Haley says she knows her pregnancy is real, because she’s gained “at least” 22 pounds. According to Haley, she’s in the final month of her pregnancy, and is due to give birth to baby Jesus anytime. Dr. Phil McGraw even questioned Haley’s pregnancy, and she replied that she is pregnant, and that it is Jesus, and that no one is going to deny him, “because he is my savior.”

The two-part episode of Dr. Phil has since gone viral online, with thousands of shares and heated debate. Viewers don’t disagree that Haley does, in fact, look very pregnant — Haley bared her bump on Dr. Phil in a video clip that was taken at her home. However, viewers do say that Haley is “very ill,” and that someone needs to address her schizophrenic behavior, especially after Kristi admitted that Haley is treated like she’s actually pregnant to “avoid conflict.”

Kristi said she can’t keep living like this, and sought out the help of Dr. Phil to find out if Haley is acting or really does need psychological help. Haley did reveal on Dr. Phil that she had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, but firmly believes she is pregnant, saying she has felt baby Jesus kick the bottom of her stomach, and that she can feel the baby’s head right below her belly button.

“I know it’s Jesus. I don’t care if my family disowns me. It really comes down to if you’re a true believer in Jesus or not.”

But Kristi says Haley usually lies, and has even claimed that the rapper Eminem is her father. Haley also believes that she’s appeared as a contestant on American Idol, and that she’s donated a kidney to her brother, saying that she was only conceived for “spare parts.” Haley’s sister, Adrianna, said on Dr. Phil that they both had been sexually molested and abused when they were kids, which she thought could be contributing to Haley’s odd behavior.

Haley continues to say that she’s “not stupid,” and she’s “not crazy,” and that she’s tired of “playing these games.” Haley says she’s days away from giving birth, even though Kristi says that multiple urine pregnancy tests, as well as a pelvic exam, have all come back negative. Cosmopolitan shared a short video clip of the Dr. Phil show where Haley says that she’s specifically asked for a blood-drawn pregnancy test, but doctors have refused to give her a blood test.

“I don’t care what the home pregnancy test or a doctor says, when I give birth to my baby, no one is going to deny him because he’s my savior.”

On Thursday’s episode of Dr. Phil, Haley had an ultrasound and was presented the results. Haley herself requested the ultrasound, which was administered by ER physician and host of The Doctors, Dr. Travis Stork. In an effort to prove that she was pregnant with baby Jesus, Haley actually learns that there’s no baby in her abdomen. The ultrasound image was completely empty. Dr. Phil even compared Haley’s ultrasound with an ultrasound of a nearly full-term pregnancy, saying “this is a picture of what you would see with a woman that is nine days away from delivery.”

In response, Haley told Dr. Phil that she feels baby Jesus kick all the time. Dr. Stork said that he wasn’t there to judge Haley, only to give the results of the ultrasound, but did try explain to Haley what she was probably feeling. According to Dr. Stork, the ultrasound showed that Haley had dilated loops of bowel — air in the intestines — that explains her bloated abdomen, as well as the feeling that there’s something moving.

“The most notable thing on this ultrasound isn’t what we see, it’s what we don’t see.”

“When you felt down there and felt something moving, that was just your bowel moving.”

Despite the ultrasound results, Haley is adamant that she’s pregnant with baby Jesus and is about to give birth. Dr. Phil extended help to the family at the end of the show. Social media comments say that Kristi should take advantage of the help that Dr. Phil offered to Haley and is paying for, and that she needs to stop “parading” her daughter around on national TV, where Haley is only embarrassed and ridiculed.

Adrianna told Dr. Phil that she feels like Haley could be where she’s at, if she starts getting the proper treatment, comes to reality, and stops living in a “fantasy world.”
