Kris Jenner’s Siblings: Sister Karen Houghton Gets 5-Hour ‘AuraLyft’ Facelift [Video]

Karen Houghton isn’t a name that is often heard during episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In fact, even the most ardent Kardashian fans might have never heard of Kris Jenner’s younger sister, Karen. However, Houghton can be seen in the video below from Inside Edition, showing what Karen looked like before and after her facelift surgery that lasted five hours.

As reported by Inside Edition, Karen is 55 years of age, and although she’s younger than the 60-year-old Kris, who was born on November 5, 1955, and turns 61 years of age on Saturday, Houghton wanted to look more youthful, like her older sister.

Prior to her surgery, Kim Kardashian’s “Aunt Karen” could be seen talking to Dr. Ben Talei about the “AuraLyft” facelift, which is one of the most dramatic facelifts a person can have, according to the video. Karen didn’t like her double chin or certain aspects of her face. Dr. Talei drew lines on Karen’s face, showing where he’d make incisions to lift her cheeks and get rid of the bags under Karen’s eyes by removing the fat therein and placing it in her cheeks for a lift and youthful look.

With the Kardashians and Jenners heavily in the spotlight due to their reality TV fame, Houghton felt the pressure to look good as well. As seen in the below video from TMZ, the publication called Houghton “Crazy Aunt Karen” at the time of Kim’s baby shower.

In the new video, Karen explained her reasoning for undergoing the facelift.

“Certain angles of my face were just not what I wanted. No one wants a double chin… I want to be a little more beautiful.”

Amazingly, during Houghton’s plastic surgery at the Beverly Hills Center, Karen was able to stay awake and talk with Dr. Talei as he operated. Karen only underwent local anesthesia and not general anesthesia during her facelift, so she was able to communicate with the surgery team during her facelift.

After telling her surgeon he was a good doctor, Houghton was seen wearing bandages and sporting the bruised eyes look that facelift patients often have post-surgery. However, after three weeks, the incredible transformation of Houghton was revealed, with Karen looking years younger than her former self.

“I look like my beautiful sister Kris and I never thought I would. [I] actually wanted to do it for me. And of course the Kardashians. Everyone wants to look beautiful.”

Other videos from Inside Edition, such as the one below, show Kim admitting to having butt injections, but the butt shots were to help with Kardashian’s psoriasis skin condition.

There has reportedly been drama between Karen and Kris, according to the video by Diary of a Hollywood Street King, as seen below.

That drama must have disappeared — or hasn’t been brought to the surface — at least according to Karen’s words during the most recent Inside Edition segment.

Not all folks connected to the Kardashians have negative words about the clan. As seen in the below video from the 700 Club, former “Malibu Nanny” Pam Behan spoke about her joyous time with the Jenner and Kardashian children, when she spent eight years working as their nanny. Pam described first being a nanny for Linda Jenner shortly after her divorce from Bruce Jenner — and later becoming a nanny for Kris Jenner, when Kris was still married to Bruce. Pam said she quit as a nanny when Kris was pregnant with Kendall because she knew once she saw that new little baby, she’d never want to leave the Kardashian-Jenner family.
