Jennifer Lopez Serves Side Boob, Major Booty, Feels ‘Empowered’
Jennifer Lopez is feeling good about herself lately. The newly single entertainer took to Instagram to share a sexy selfie.
In the new photo, Lopez is serving up some major side boob and booty, as recently reported via Cosmopolitan. The actress and singer is seen wearing a revealing black one-piece swimsuit, which she paired with a ponytail, red lip, and nothing much else. Lopez typically wears revealing outfits, but her selfie is more along the lines of what Kim Kardashian would post if she wasn’t on a social media break.
“#loveyourselffirst #feelingempowered #healthybodyhealthymind,” she simply captioned the photo.
Jennifer also revealed to her fans that she’s feeling “empowered” these days. She’s been sharing some photos of herself that remind fans of her “Jenny From the Block” and “J.LO” heydays.
The 47-year-old mother of two has obviously worked hard for her body, as reported via People. She trains with Tracy Anderson four to five times a week doing a combination of cardio and muscular work. She also sticks to her clean diet, which consists of mostly fruits, vegetables, and protein.
“I don’t deprive myself,” she previously told the outlet. “But I’ve learned the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I always have healthy snacks like fruit and vegetables with me.”
According to a separate report via E! Online, Lopez wasn’t always seen as a perfect 10 in Hollywood. She was told at the beginning of the career that she would have to lose weight so she could score acting gigs and fit in with the rest of the actresses.
“They kept telling me to lose weight, and I was a dancer and I was athletic and even my manager at the time who I no longer work with, um, was telling me, ‘You need to lose weight. You need to be thinner.’ I was like, ‘No I don’t. If I lose any more weight it won’t be me.’ You know what I mean?”
Jennifer also recalled the time she once inspired a young fan to stop wearing sweatshirts to hide her waist, but she also admits that the changing times have allowed women to embrace their curves.
“It’s a different time now you know, which is awesome for me to see where it is about our differences. It’s all about the diversity. It’s just a more accepting time of everything whether it’s body type or race or gender. We’ve come a long way.”
In the meantime, The Shades of Blue star is set to release a Spanish album. She’s reportedly working on a new album and she’s working with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. The former couple previously collaborated on her hit album Como Ama Una Mujer, which debuted at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 all-genre chart back in 2007, according to Forbes. Anthony’s entertainment company, Magnus Media and Sony Music Latin, made the announcement along with the Latina singer.
“I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthon and the Sony/Magnus family,” Lopez recently said in a press statement.
Even though it’s been almost a decade since she released a Spanish album, J.Lo previously worked with other Latino artists, including Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Wisin y Yandel, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The first single off her new album is scheduled to be released later this month, while the album is slated for a 2017 release. Jennifer has not taken to her social media accounts to make the official announcement.
