Fans will not know for a while yet who snags Viall’s final rose, but gossip guru “Reality Steve” hints that this gal may be one to keep an eye on in Season 21. There will reportedly be 30 bachelorettes showing up during the premiere, but Gates seems to make a serious impression on Nick, and she might be sticking around for a while. What’s the scoop on Raven?
Reality Steve’s Bachelor spoilers detail that Raven Gates is 25-years-old, and she currently owns a boutique clothing store in Jonesboro, Arkansas called Grey Suede that had its brick-and-mortar opening last spring. She is said to originally be from Hoxie, Arkansas and has a lot of support on her journey to find love with Nick, as she has friends and family already tweeting quite a bit about her participation on Viall’s upcoming season.
The Bach and Bachette Fan Forum has uncovered some additional details on this Bachelor contestant. Gates is definitely very close to her family, and she seems to be connected to a nondenominational church in Jonesboro according to her Facebook page. She was an athlete during her high school days, and it looks like she attended the college in Arkansas as well.
Raven’s parents, Tracy and Wes, have been married for 30 years, and Gates posted a sweet message to her parents on their anniversary last summer. In her post, she wrote about her parents teaching her what love looks like. This Bachelor contender also has a niece and a nephew she clearly adores, and she has a brother named Weston who works in law enforcement.
The Gates family went through a difficult time nearly two years ago when Raven’s father was diagnosed with cancer, and a post from her dad on Facebook detailed that the family has faced many battles with the disease over the years. They clearly relied on their faith during the difficult days, and it would appear that he is doing well now. Both of the Bachelor contestant’s parents share a lot of posts related to Raven’s boutique on their Facebook pages, so it seems that this is one very tight-knit, loving family.

This bachelorette was seemingly in a relationship in early 2016, but it does look like her focus over the past few months has been on opening her boutique rather than on romance. Could Viall be her Mr. Right? The Bachelor fans are quite curious to see Raven and Nick together, and some are already talking about how Gates reminds them a bit of Courtney Robertson from Ben Flajnik’s season a few years back.
Viewers will be curious to see Gates and Viall interact with one another and see if there really is chemistry between them. There is a bit of an age difference between Nick and Raven as this Bachelor lead is 36-years-old. Another potential concern is the fact that it seems like this bachelorette is pretty settled in Arkansas and might be a bit resistant to moving were she the one to snag the final rose.
