Brad Pitt’s Relationship With Maddox Jolie-Pitt Is ‘Fractured,’ But Pax And Shiloh Want To Move Back Home [Report]

Brad Pitt’s relationships with his children are a bit strained due to his current custody battle and a child abuse investigation against him.

While the 52-year-old actor is used to spending time with his kids on a daily basis, he has reportedly been placed on supervised visits with the children, including Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight, as his wife, Angelina Jolie maintains full physical custody.

According to a recent report, Brad Pitt and his oldest son are at odds after Pitt allegedly got physical with the boy during a trip from France to Los Angeles in September. On November 2, the Hollywood Life revealed that a source had claimed Maddox recently lashed out against Pitt and told him he wasn’t his father. Also on November 2, a source told OK! Magazine that Pax and Shiloh were hoping to soon move back in with Brad Pitt.

“Recently, Pax and Shiloh told Angelina that they’d prefer to live with their father,” a source told the magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life. “Pax and Shiloh have always had a strong bond and both of them have long felt more compatible, emotionally, with [Brad Pitt]. If Pax and Shiloh really want to be with Brad, she’s in an unwinnable situation. How can you claim you’re doing what’s best for the kids when you’re ignoring their stated wishes?”

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19 after two years of marriage and six children and since then, she’s been living with the kids in a rented Malibu home under a temporary custody arrangement. As per the agreement, Jolie is the primary custodian of the children and Brad Pitt has nothing more than visitation.

As Hollywood Life explained, Jolie is requesting full physical custody of the children with joint legal while Brad Pitt, who she prefers to have visitation rights, has requested joint custody. Meanwhile, the ongoing investigation into Brad Pitt’s alleged abuse could result in Pitt losing his visitation completely.

As for which parent Zahara, Knox, and Vivienne prefer to live with, that information has not yet been revealed. That said, Maddox is allegedly wanting to stay with Jolie after his alleged plane fight with Brad Pitt. According to Hollywood Life, Brad Pitt’s relationship with Maddox has been “fractured” since the incident took place.

While Pax and Shiloh may be ready to rejoin Brad Pitt and their former family home in the Hollywood Hills, Pitt may not be there for much longer. According to another report shared earlier this week, Brad Pitt is considering moving out of the home and into something new.

“Brad [Pitt] is considering a major change as he has been feeling the effects of the loss of [Angelina Jolie] and his kids as he sits in the big empty mansion his family used to call home,” a source told Hollywood Life on November 1. “Brad is leaning towards finally letting go and selling the huge Hollywood Hills house he owned before he had kids and starting over somewhere new.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had been spending the majority of their time in their Hollywood Hills home in the months leading up to their sudden split and in July, they were seen out as a family multiple times in Los Angeles. After being photographed shopping for the 4th of July holiday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were seen celebrating their twin’s birthday with a pancake breakfast in West Hollywood.
