Adele Feels Sorry For Americans, Says U.S. Politics Is ‘Embarrassing’

Adele feels sorry for Americans, according to the Washington Post. The 28-year-old “Hello” singer said she is embarrassed for Americans after watching the presidential debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

And while it sure seems strange to hear a Brit say American politics is “embarrassing” after Brits voted in favor of Brexit this summer, Adele says she actually feels sorry for the United States.

Adele had a brief chat about politics with her audience at her Verizon Center show, and it appears that the “Rolling in the Deep” singer keeps an eye on the upcoming November 8 Election Day in the U.S. even though she won’t be voting in the election since she is a British citizen.

But it doesn’t mean Adele can’t pick her favorite candidate in this year’s presidential election in America.

“I’m embarrassed for you. I watched the debate, and you should know who I like and who I do not f***ing like.”

Adele didn’t elaborate on who her favorite candidate was, but many have assumed that she is a Clinton supporter. Adele was recently seen entering the White House grounds, so she is indeed taking a closer look at U.S. politics. It would be interesting to know Adele’s thoughts on Kanye West’s plans to run for President in 2020.

Either way, Adele is preparing for something big, according to Self. So big, the singer is exhausting herself with intense workouts in the gym. As seen in an Instagram pic shared by Adele recently, the singer is seen working extremely hard in the gym.

In fact, Adele’s workouts seem so intense the singer apparently has to turn on “beast mode” to survive them. On the photo shared by the singer, she is seen holding a dumbbell in each hand and gritting her teeth, while staring intensely at the sky.

But at least Adele doesn’t make her workouts seem a breeze and glamorous, as virtually all other celebrities do when they share photos of themselves in the gym. That’s surely a good way of encouraging people to work out because seeing that even celebrities struggle to do bicep curls in the gym makes it very much relatable to the average person.

Adele, who is seen in the photos in an oversized black blouse and oversized black pants (not skin-tight, as many other celebrities prefer), proves that she works hard in the gym without showing off some perfect-looking skin-tight workout outfits or some cool-looking yoga poses.

Instead, Adele shows a strained look on her face while struggling to lift two not-so-heavy looking dumbbells. If only there were more celebrities like Adele, who doesn’t sugarcoat working out in the gym, more people around the world might be inspired to get up and do some physical activity.

In fact, Adele started adopting healthy habits only recently. And in her interview with Refinery29, the “Hello” singer revealed she had cut back on drinking and quit smoking for the benefit of her own and her family’s health.

“I like myself more than ever. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with.”

In her recent interview with Vogue magazine, Adele admitted that working out, quitting smoking, and cutting back on alcohol was an attempt for her to “get some stamina for my tour.”

That’s why Adele decided to lose a bit of weight, but it’s apparently a problem for the singer because she is obsessed with shopping.

“Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes — which is a really big problem for me!”
