Pink Loses 55 Pounds, Shows Off New Figure On ‘Shape’ Magazine Cover

Pop rock singer Pink recently took to the cover of Shape Magazine to reveal that she has lost nearly all the weight gained during her pregnancy last year.

Pink, who gave birth to her daughter Willow Sage Hart in June 2011, packed on nearly 55 pounds during the pregnancy by eating an assortment of candy and desserts.

“I ate a lot of cheesecake during those nine months. Also anything sour, Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Key Lime Pie…,” she explained.

According to Pink, she dropped the weight thanks to a consistent gym routine and strict vegan diet.

On the cover of the magazine, Pink flaunts her set of washboard abs wearing a sheer black crop top and bikini.

“I’m an athlete so I have to be strong,” Pink told People in September, “It was hard work.”

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter, whose real name is Alecia Moore, might look the picture of health on Shape‘s cover, but it wasn’t always the case as she developed some pretty unhealthy habits at an early age.

Pink said:

“I was 9 [when I started smoking]. By the time I turned 12 I was smoking a pack a day. I quit when I got pregnant. Unlike before [Willow was born], cigarettes smell repulsive to me.”

Besides spending countless hours in the gym and with baby Willow Sage, Pink is getting prepared for her upcoming The Truth About Love Tour, which kicks off February 2013.

In The Truth About Love, Pink’s sixth studio album, the blonde beauty reflects on marriage, music, and motherhood.
