Carrie Underwood Fighting To Have Another Baby With ‘Hot’ Husband
Carrie Underwood had previously expressed her interest in another baby, but it’s been rumored that she’s in a battle with husband Mike Fisher.
Radar Online has reported that Underwood is the only one who wants another baby. She wants Fisher to quit his hockey career to become a stay-at-home-dad. Underwood has given Fisher an ultimatum, and he is not crazy about the idea.
“Carrie and Mike have been at each other’s throats for ages over when to bring another little one into their family. Mike is at his wit’s end. When he and Carrie married, they both agreed on four kids! But neither is getting any younger … Carrie seems more interested in touring and recording.”
Although Underwood wants more children, she is not giving up her country music career anytime soon. Underwood and Fisher welcomed their first child, son, Isaiah, in Feb. 2015. Underwood then kicked off her Storyteller Tour, which wraps up on Nov. 28. Now, the tables have turned, and Fisher wants to keep trying for baby No. 2 with Underwood, but she’s too busy with her new album and tour at the moment. So, she agreed under one very important condition, revealed the source.
“Mike has been pressing to start trying for the baby … but Carrie keeps making excuses. Carrie did not appreciate being pushed into a corner, but she finally agreed to baby number two – under the condition that Mike retire and be a stay-at-home dad. Carrie rules the roost, so she’s likely to win this battle. Poor Mike had no idea when he and Carrie married that she might turn him into a house husband!”
Before Isaiah was born, insiders revealed that Fisher, who has been wanting a baby since their July 2010 wedding, had previously threatened to end their marriage. According to the alleged sources, rumors have been circulating that Underwood was having an affair with country star Brad Paisley. Now Fisher, whose contract ends in 2017, is now faced with the decision to give up his career permanently and become a full-time dad.
Earlier this month, Underwood discussed the possibility of having a second child with Fisher. She opened up about the idea in her cover story for Redbook magazine, as reported via ABC News. Underwood says she’s totally open to the idea of expanding her family. However, she said that she was concerned about her husband’s schedule and constant traveling, but not the other way around, as Radar Online suggested.
“If my husband were at the beginning of his career, I’m not sure we could handle it. Since he’s kind of nearing the end and won’t be traveling so much, we’re like, ‘We can figure it out for not that long.’ You make it work.”
Underwood said that her career had made her wonder if she should become a mother. Though she loves being on the road and touring, she was worried about becoming a mom for the first time. Luckily, Underwood and Fisher were able to make it work.
“When I was pregnant, I thought, ‘How am I going to be on the road? How am I going to keep doing my job?’ I had to just give it to God and stop worrying about it. Sure enough, we figured it out.”
Underwood and Fisher seem to be in love despite Radar Online’s report. The “Dirty Laundry” singer praised her “hot” husband before, according to The Hamilton Spectator. In fact, she thinks he’s both “wonderful and hot.”
“My husband is a wonderful as he is hot, and I feel like that’s rare. He’s amazing. He’s such a great dad and he’s so supportive of what I do and I’m supportive of what I do and I’m supportive of him and we just love our little family. I’ve seen my husband twice in the past month, but we’ll hang on until we can be together. It makes those moments that you are together more special.”
Carrie Underwood will be hosting the Country Music Awards alongside Paisley for the ninth time in a row. The 50th Country Music Awards show airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
