Miranda Lambert And Anderson East’s Wedding Plans Have Been Postponed [Report]

Miranda Lambert has reportedly postponed her plans to wed boyfriend Anderson East.

According to a new report, Miranda Lambert’s schedule is far too busy for a wedding. In addition to the promotion of her upcoming album, The Weight of These Wings, Lambert has been performing numerous shows in recent weeks, which has left her with no time to plan a ceremony.

“Life just got too crazy busy,” an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly on November 2. “With everything going on, the wedding just got away from her. Miranda and Anderson are more in love than ever and he’ll happily wait until next summer if that’s what she wants.”

Miranda Lambert began dating Anderson East in December of last year, just months after splitting from former husband Blake Shelton. As fans will recall, Miranda Lambert and Shelton divorced in July of last year after four years of marriage and four months later, Shelton went public with his new romance with Gwen Stefani, his co-star on The Voice.

Although Miranda Lambert has not yet confirmed plans to get married to Anderson East, rumors have been swirling for months regarding their plans and weeks ago, a source claimed Miranda Lambert was not only ready for marriage, but also for kids.

“[Miranda Lambert] wants to get married again and have children soon,” a source told E! News last month. “That has been an open conversation between her and Anderson. He wants the same… Miranda is very happy with Anderson. They have gotten very close. Her friends think this is the guy for her.”

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were faced with rumors of cheating and disputes over family planning when they suddenly ended their marriage last year, but according to the report, Miranda Lambert doesn’t hold any ill will towards her ex-husband.

“[Miranda Lambert] is completely over Blake and wishes him only the best. It was a time in her life that was special, but she’s happy that relationship took her to where she is now,” the source said.

“Many lessons were learned in that time with Blake. She hasn’t spoken to Blake in a friendship capacity yet, and she is not sure she will ever get back to that point with him. At this point, they have no attachments to each other,” the source continued.

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East went public with their romance in January of this year with an Instagram post of the two of them. In a photo shared on Lambert’s account, she and East were pictured sitting next to one another with a red flannel blanket covering them. One month later, Miranda Lambert made a surprise appearance at one of East’s shows on Valentine’s Day.

Although Miranda Lambert and Anderson East haven’t been the most public couple, they have shared photos and posts about one another from time to time and in April, they appeared on the red carpet together at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. The show, which was also attended by Shelton, marked the first official confirmation of Miranda Lambert’s romance.

In addition to tending to her relationship with East, Miranda Lambert has been busy writing new music in recent months and soon, fans will be hearing her new tracks. Following the premiere of “Vice” in July, Miranda Lambert is expected to release her new album, but a date for the release has yet to be confirmed.
