Justin Theroux And Brad Pitt Feud: Theroux Takes Swing At Pitt On Instagram
Justin Theroux and Brad Pitt’s feud is undeniable and a recent post on Theroux’s Instagram page was thought to be addressed to Pitt. However, Justin claims otherwise.
Theroux’s Instagram post had a controversial aspect towards it because it was thought to be expressing hate against recently divorced Brad Pitt. The Instagram photo is an image of a woman biting her flipped middle finger. The background of the image features hateful opinions such as “F**k politics,” “F**k imperialism,” “F**k Cocaine,” and a few other things hated upon including Brad Pitt.
The Instagram post by Theroux quickly attracted the attention of critics who quickly tied it to the feud between Justin and Brad. The photo which consists of the graffiti design by Nick Flatt also expresses the 45-year-old actor’s feelings about the elections, but that’s beside the main point which is the shade thrown at Pitt. The controversy about the Instagram photo hits the waves just a few days after the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had filed for a divorce hit the waves.
A few Instagram users responded to the post by Justin and from the looks of it, they were excited that the social media post seems to have also been targeted towards Angelina’s ex-husband. One Instagram user responded, “haha nice Justin! Shade Thrown! OK!” while another user stated, “F**k Brad Pitt: My thoughts exactly.”
Theroux responded by deleting some of the comments. He also added a long hashtag pointing out that he was not throwing shade at anybody.
“And NO this post is NOT ‘shading’ anyone because I’m not 11-years-old,” read a caption added to the post.
Justin, who has acted in the film, Girl On The Train, distanced himself with the Brangelina divorce, though he expressed his sympathy to Pitt and Jolie’s children. He maintains that the post was in no way intended to spark any tension between him and the World War Z star.
“As a child of divorce, all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children, and that’s all you can really say. It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time. That’s horrible,” stated Theroux.

The 45-year-old actor also told Business Insider that people are always eager to listen to trash even though they claim that they don’t have an appetite for it. He believes that most people still believe irrelevant claims. He made these statements in a bid to kill any more dubious claims on the matter. He also expressed disbelief at how the level of attention given to irrelevant matters as opposed to more important things that are taking place in the world.
The Instagram post by Theroux is also thought to have received to have received a lot of attention due to the fact that he married Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. Prior to the romance that brewed between Pitt and Angelina, Aniston was married to Pitt. However, their marriage ended in 2005. Shortly after that, Brad and Angelina were constantly seen together and their relationship turned into a highly publicized marriage that was the envy of Hollywood.
The recent divorce, therefore, shocked many. Angelina filed for the divorce citing irreconcilable differences. There has been a lot of speculation for the reason behind the divorce but the former couple has managed to keep a tight lid on their personal matters. Jolie is also seeking for physical custody of their six children. As for Justin, it is clear that he thinks the divorce between Brad and Angelina will affect the children. Theroux’s Instagram post might not signify any shots fired at Pitt but clearly many people think otherwise.
