Kris Jenner’s Revealing Halloween Costume Impresses Kylie Jenner As Kim Kardashian Skips The Holiday
Perhaps Kris Jenner borrowed her sexy Halloween costume from Kim Kardashian after Kim decided to skip the holiday.
Kris Jenner’s revealing Alice in Wonderland getup is being compared to the Halloween costumes Kim Kardashian used to wear. As the Daily Mail reports, Kim decided to “snub her favorite night of the year” after her Paris robbery nightmare scared her into seclusion. Instead of hitting the party scene like she usually does, the traumatized social media star reportedly enjoyed “a lowkey event at her Bel Air home with her family.”
However, Kim’s mother and sisters didn’t let her frightening experience stop them from enjoying Halloween, and it looks like 60-year-old Kris Jenner decided to be Kim’s stand-in this year by trying to look like her. A Hollywood Life title even proclaims that “Kris Jenner Rivals Daughter Kim In Super Sexy Alice In Wonderland Costume.”
Kylie Jenner agreed that her mom looked hot in the short blue dress with a low-cut top and a stuffed white rabbit attached to the skirt. As Entertainment Tonight reports, she showed off her mother’s Halloween costume on her Snapchat story. In addition to a shortened version of Alice’s iconic dress, Kris’ costume included black stockings and black high heels.
“Okay mom,” an impressed-sounding Kylie can be heard saying in a Snapchat video.
You know you look good in your Halloween costume when it impresses the beauty icon who rocked one of Halloween 2016’s most talked-about costumes. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kylie Jenner recreated Christina Aguilera’s good-girl-gone-bad look from her 2002 “Dirrty” music video. The impressive Halloween costume got a big thumbs-up from Christina.
This isn’t the first time Kris Jenner has worn an Alice in Wonderland-themed costume on Halloween. As People reports, she dressed up like Alice’s nemesis with a decapitation fetish, the Queen of Hearts, in 2010. Her costume choice proved that she and Kim Kardashian have very similar tastes. Kim revealed that she was going to wear the exact same thing before she found out that her mom was dressing up like the mean queen.
“I was gonna be the queen of hearts but my mom bought the same costume! I could’ve been the ultimateHeart Breaker,” Kim tweeted, according to Starcasm.
Kim eventually decided to dress up like Little Red Riding Hood instead.
Kylie Jenner shares Kris and Kim’s love for Alice in Wonderland. According to E! News, she chose an Alice in Wonderland theme for her Sweet 16 party in 2013. Her party venue was decorated with giant mushrooms, and she was presented with a rose-covered cake iced with a chessboard design. However, Kylie decided against wearing an Alice costume to her birthday bash.
Hollywood, in general, seems to be pretty enamored with Alice and the wacky world beyond her looking glass. Alice costumes are popular with celebrities every year. This Halloween, Gwen Stefani gave the storybook character her own unique twist by dressing up like an undead Alice, and Kim Kardashian’s former BFF, Paris Hilton, wore an Alice costume that’s somewhat similar to Kris Jenner’s outfit.
While it looks like Kris Jenner is enjoying herself in Kylie Jenner’s Halloween Snapchat video, Khloe Kardashian says that her mom was a Halloween Grinch during the Kardashian girls’ trick-or-treating days. In a post on her paid blog, KhloeWithAK.com, Khloe revealed that her mother’s fear of tainted treats made her start hating Halloween.
“My mom never allowed us to eat the candy anyway,” Khloe said, according to the Daily Mail. “She was like, ‘Someone probably did something to it.’ Someone always had to check out all of the candy first and it was so annoying!'”
Perhaps Kris Jenner had just learned a very valuable lesson from Alice, which is that you never know when a strange sweet is going to make you grow to an enormous size or shrink you down to the size of a dormouse.
