Did Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Spend Halloween Together, And Are They Attending The CMAs?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together last Halloween, so many of their fans were hoping to see them rock a couples costume this year. However, their Halloween dreams did not come true.

Instead of heading out to a Halloween party with Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani took her three sons — Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 — trick-or-treating on Monday night. According to the Daily Mail, Gwen Stefani got in the spooky holiday spirit by dressing up like an undead Alice in Wonderland with a blood-splattered face and dress. She completed her costume with a short blonde wig, black hair bow, white stockings, and bright pink boots. Kingston and Zuma dressed up like scary zombies, and Apollo wore a cute Pikachu costume.

As In Touch Weekly reports, the world first got wind of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s romance last Halloween when they were spotted leaving George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s Casamigos Tequila party together.

Partygoers saw Gwen and Blake getting flirty with one another and holding hands, but the lovebirds immediately stopped the PDA whenever they saw anyone snapping photos. However, Gwen couldn’t resist dropping a subtle hint that she was the cowboy’s date by wearing a cowgirl costume to the Halloween bash.

So what was Blake Shelton doing this Halloween while Gwen Stefani took her boys trick-or-treating? According to one of his recent tweets, he’s hoping to bring home some protein-packed, gamy treats; Blake is spending the week deer hunting.

Blake is most likely at his ranch in Oklahoma, a location Gwen and her sons have visited many times before. However, Blake knows better than to ask his animal-rights advocate girlfriend to join him in a tree stand. During an interview with Rolling Stone, he was asked whether he’s ever taken Gwen hunting with him.

“I know you know better than that,” Shelton responded. “I can just see her: ‘Get ’em!’ That makes me laugh.”

Gwen Stefani was recently named as one of Glamour‘s Women of the Year, and she talked about how she and Shelton come from two totally different worlds. According to Stefani, she has wholeheartedly embraced their differences.

“It’s definitely two different cultures. But there are many similarities, in things that we love and our morals,” Stefani said.

“But it’s really fun when you can learn about so many new things and share those differences.”

Gwen Stefani may love learning new things about Shelton, but he probably won’t be able to convince her that deer hunting season is the most wonderful time of the year.

“But bowhunting white-tailed deer in Oklahoma is my favorite thing. It takes me back to my childhood. There’s just so many memories and special things that have happened to me that revolve around deer season, honestly. It’s my favorite time of year.”

Some of Blake’s Twitter followers believe that he’s spending a week away from the hectic Hollywood world doing something that he loves because he was snubbed by the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards this year.

“If what you’re saying is that you’re ok w/no CMAs then we’re ok w/ it too. Have fun & be happy. You’re #1 w/ us!” @fureyse1 wrote in response to Blake’s hunting tweet.

USA Today lists Blake Shelton as one of the biggest snubs of the 2016 CMAs. He’s taken home nine CMA trophies, and he seemed like a shoe-in for at least one nomination this year after releasing a successful new album, If I’m Honest, this summer. It included a duet with Gwen Stefani titled “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.” As the Inquisitr previously reported, some fans have speculated that Shelton’s relationship with Stefani has something to do with the CMAs snub.

Blake Shelton’s lack of a nomination may not be the only reason he isn’t attending the November 2 awards show with Gwen Stefani on his arm. As Entertainment Weekly reports, his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, is set to perform at the CMAs, and she’s also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. Blake likely wants to avoid an awkward run-in with Miranda.

This will be the second time Gwen Stefani misses out on attending the CMAs with her boyfriend. As Hollywood Life reports, she didn’t accompany to the event last year, but the couple was photographed together at a CMAs after party.

If Blake starts feeling bummed about his CMAs snub, perhaps he should heed his girlfriend’s wise words about living in the moment.

“I’m trying to be present, not thinking and worrying about the past or the future. That’s such a waste of time, you know?” Gwen Stefani told Glamour of her secret to being at peace with whatever is going on in her crazy life.
