Amy Duggar Wears Prostitute Costume For Halloween: Will She Appear On ‘Counting On’ Season 3?

Amy Duggar chose a Halloween costume that her Uncle, Jim Bob, would not approve of.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 30-year-old niece has not appeared on their family’s new TLC series, Counting On, as of yet, but Amy Duggar has been using social media to keep fans updated about what’s going on in her life. On Sunday, Amy took to Instagram to let her followers know that she and her husband, Dillon King, were leaving their home in Arizona and taking a road trip to Las Vegas.

Amy and Dillon arrived at their destination just in time to celebrate Halloween in Sin City, giving Amy Duggar a chance to show off her Halloween costume. According to the former 19 Kids and Counting star, she went to dinner dressed up like Vivian Ward, Julia Roberts’ prostitute character from Pretty Woman. Amy didn’t rock a blonde wig like Julia Roberts does in the movie, but she did wear a knockoff of Vivian’s iconic blue and white dress. Amy completed her look with a pair of black thigh-high boots.

According to the Duggars’ “rebel” cousin, she and Dillon King didn’t have a wild Halloween night in Vegas.

“Confession: In this picture it looks like we had a wild/ crazy night here in Vegas. When in reality we were actually just heading to dinner, inside our hotel and then we crashed for night. Lol #partyanimals,” Amy wrote.

A few of Amy Duggar’s Instagram followers responded to her Halloween costume photo by wondering what her Uncle Jim Bob would think of her revealing outfit.

“Jim Bob gonna love this!” one of her follower’s wrote.

“Hahaha awesome!! Jim Bob will have a cow!!!!” another commented.

As fans of the Duggar family know, Jim Bob’s daughters only wear modest dresses and skirts that show very little skin. In one of her TLC blog posts, Michelle Duggar said that she encourages the girls to choose clothing that keeps them covered from the neck to below the knees. According to Michelle, the small slivers of Amy Duggar’s bare thighs that are visible in her Halloween costume photo are a big no-no because “God talks about the thigh being uncovered, and how that’s nakedness and shame.”

Jim Bob and Michelle wouldn’t just take issue with their niece’s skimpy outfit if they saw Amy’s Halloween photo. They’d also disagree with her decision to celebrate the spooky holiday. As the Daily Mail reports, a few of Amy’s female cousins — Jana, Jessa, Jill, and Jinger — explain why their family doesn’t celebrate Halloween in their book, Growing Up Duggar.

“Magic, sorcery, witches, spell-casting, and the like are all part of the demonic realm that God wants us to stay away from,” the girls write.

According to Michelle Duggar, her family celebrates “Fall Harvest” instead.

Perhaps more of the differences between Amy Duggar and her strict religious family members will be explored during Season 3 of Counting On. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Duggars are currently filming the upcoming season of their TLC reality series. Back in May, Amy Duggar also revealed that she and Dillon King were filming a mystery project during a trip to California. The Hollywood Gossip speculated that they were working on a Counting On spinoff, but perhaps they were actually filming footage for Season 3 of the show. Amy Duggar and a camera crew were also spotted at a nail salon during the weekend of her 30th birthday.

TLC has been using old footage from past episodes of Counting On and 19 Kids and Counting as filler to create full seasons of hour-long Counting On episodes. Viewers are getting tired of seeing the same recycled footage over and over again, so perhaps the network has decided to give fans updates on what’s going on with Amy Duggar instead of rehashing old news.

When she last appeared on 19 Kids and Counting, Amy was pursuing a singing career in Nashville. However, she’s seemingly given up on that dream.

So far Amy Duggar hasn’t been spotted filming with her cousins, but perhaps she’ll appear onscreen with them when Jinger Duggar’s Counting On wedding episode airs next year.
