Miley Cyrus Focuses On ‘The Voice’ Season 11 Amid Drama With Liam Hemsworth?

Miley Cyrus and her co-stars are headed for the upcoming live episodes of The Voice and as they prepare for the next phase of the competition, they have eliminated several contestants from their teams.

During the past several shows, Miley Cyrus and her co-stars have been participating in the knockout rounds, which feature the coaches pining two contestants against one another and choosing just one to move on. The shows have been emotional for both the coaches and the contestants and at one point, Cyrus was seen crying.

On November 1, the Daily Mail shared details of the latest episode of The Voice, which aired on Monday, and revealed that Miley Cyrus had taken a liking to singer Michael Sanchez, who sang “Just the Two of Us” while battling Sa’Rayah. Although Alicia Keys ultimately chose Sa’Rayah to move on, Miley Cyrus appeared to be convinced that Sanchez was a star.

“Michael…I feel like you won that round, maybe I’m just of blindly kind of obsessed with your style and your glasses do something to me, like…I don’t know, but also the way you were sliding down the keys, I think you’re super super special,” Miley Cyrus noted.

For Miley Cyrus, The Voice Season 11 is her very first season starring on the show as a coach. As fans may recall, Miley Cyrus was seen during the show’s 10th season, but only as a guest mentor alongside Christina Aguilera.

Ahead of filming on Season 11, Aguilera parted ways with the series, as did Pharrell Williams, and in turn, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys were brought aboard for a two-women, two-men panel. During Season 12, which was recently announced, the two-women, two-men panel will continue with Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

Although Miley Cyrus will not be appearing on The Voice Season 12, she recently confirmed on Twitter that she would be returning to her coaching role during the series’ 13th season, which will air on NBC next fall.

In other Miley Cyrus news, the singer and her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, may be on the rocks.

“He can’t keep up with her, and she’s been finding life with him to be a snoozefest,” a source recently told Life & Style Weekly magazine, according to a report by Headlines & Global News on October 31.

According to the magazine’s source, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been feuding over her alleged pot smoking, which he doesn’t like, and during one particular fight, Cyrus reportedly called off their plans to wed.

“[Miley Cyrus] was screaming at him, telling him he was holding her back and making her hide who she truly is,” the source claimed.

Despite the ongoing rumors regarding her plans to cancel her wedding, Miley Cyrus recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her engagement ring on. During the show, Cyrus explained why she doesn’t always wear the ring.

“This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up,” she explained. “So sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney tune. And [Liam’s] kind of like, ‘What’s going on?’ It’s like, well, ‘This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.'”

For more of Miley Cyrus and her co-stars, including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys, tune into The Voice Season 11 airing on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
