‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Newman Returns For February Sweeps–Nick Learns The Shocking Paternity Bombshell?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) could be on his way back to Genoa City. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Justin Hartley could head back to the CBS soap opera during his break from NBC’s This Is Us. For many Young and the Restless fans, it is the news they have been waiting for, and they cannot wait to see what’s ahead in Adam’s storyline.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Adam could pop up at any moment and expose Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for nearly taking his life. At this point, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) doesn’t know that Chloe tried to kill him but chickened out. She decided that she didn’t have that much hatred for him and couldn’t take Chelsea’s husband from her—-even though he “took” Delia from her. She left the cabin that night and believed that Chelsea would find Adam, passed out from the tranquilizer gun. Instead, someone else blew the cabin up and kidnapped Adam before Chelsea could make her way back to pick him up.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Adam could make his way back to Genoa City in February as part of a sweeps storyline. The spoilers hinted that Adam had been stowed away somewhere, possibly being nursed back to health. He should return with a plan to reunite with his family, especially since Christian is alive.

Nick believes that Christian is his son. At this point, he’s planning to take Christian to his home and raise him the way Sage (Kelly Sullivan)and He planned over a year ago. His worry is that Dylan will panic after learning that Sully isn’t his child and run off with his precious baby boy. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Chelsea tries to calm his nerves, but it just intensifies Nick’s anxiety.

The Young and the Restless fans are hurting for Chelsea as she grieves for Adam. She misses him, and something in her knows that he isn’t actually gone. She’s tried to pick up the pieces, but it proves to be difficult for her.

When she hears that Christian is alive, she panics for a few moments. Her gut reaction was to pick the baby up to hug him, just to be close to Adam. She had to stop herself because Nick believes that Christian is his child, and she cannot force herself to take that away from him right now.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) told Chelsea they should keep Christian’s real paternity a secret to protect Nick from getting hurt, again, She Knows Soaps reports. Victor says that Adam would want Nick to raise him as his child. Deep down, Chelsea knows he is right and vows to support Nick in any way she can.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that the real nightmare begins when another DNA test proves that neither Dylan nor Nick is Christian’s dad. Nick panic as he knows that if he isn’t Christian’s father, that means that Adam was his father. The question is, will Nick want to raise Christian when he learns he is Adam’s son?

About this time, Adam will learn that his son is alive and in the middle of a custody dispute. Of course, we’ll see Adam in a nearby town, watching his family from afar. Will Adam return to settle the disagreement once and for all?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Justin Hartley was open to returning to the role of Adam Newman, as long as it “worked with his schedule.” Michael Muhney has shown interest in returning to a daytime soap opera, and with the regime change, it would be a great opportunity for him. Who will reprise the role of Adam Newman—Michael Muhney or Justin Hartley?
