Baltimore Ravens Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Bold Predictions For NFL Week 9

The AFC North is normally considered one of the strongest divisions in the NFL, but this season, it has been the worst. At this point in the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are leading the division with a 4-3 record while the rest of the division has a losing record.

Looking ahead at the schedule for NFL Week 9, there is one AFC North game, in particular, to keep an eye on.

Pittsburgh is set to take on the Baltimore Ravens this week, and the Ravens know that they need to win this game. Ben Roethlisberger might be back, although that has yet to be decided. If Big Ben does return to the lineup this week, Baltimore’s task of coming away with a win would be much more difficult.

Baltimore is coming off of a 24-16 loss at the hands of the New York Jets back in Week 7. It was a rough loss, but they still believe that they can bounce back and make a run at the postseason. They hold a 3-4 record and a win over the Steelers this week could end up having serious playoff implications when everything is said and done.

All of that being said, what bold predictions could be made for the Ravens vs. Steelers game heading into Week 9 NFL action?

Joe Flacco Torches the Steelers for 300 Yards, Three Touchdowns

If the Ravens want to win this week, they are going to need Joe Flacco to step up and play a big game. He will do just that and will throw for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns on the afternoon. Baltimore is going to utilize the aerial attack early and often this week, and it will result in big numbers for Flacco.

Antonio Brown Dominates No Matter Who the Quarterback Is

Even if the Steelers don’t have Roethlisberger back this week, Antonio Brown is going to have a big game. He knows that his team needs a win this week, and he will put on a show for the fans. Brown is arguably the NFL’s best receiver, and he will prove that this week with at least 120 yards and a touchdown or two.

Terrance West Gets Back on Track After a Rough Week 7 Outing

During the Ravens’ Week 7 loss to the Jets, Terrance West only carried the football eight times for 10 yards. He is going to bounce back this week against the Pittsburgh defense. West won’t break out for a 100-yard game, but he will rush for around 60 yards with a good yards per carry average.

Le’Veon Bell Totals 125 Yards, Two Touchdowns

Pittsburgh has the best running back in the National Football League in Le’Veon Bell. He is going to have a big game against the Baltimore defense. Bell will rack up at least 125 total yards to go along with two touchdowns and will help the Steelers put up big numbers on the scoreboard.

Baltimore Pulls Off a Huge Win Over Their Division Rival

It isn’t going to be easy for the Ravens to win this week, but they will find a way to get the job done. They will pull off a huge win over the Steelers to improve to 4-4 on the season. Pittsburgh will drop to 4-4 on the season, and it will set the stage for a hard-fought battle for the division title down the stretch of the season.

Expect to see these two teams play with a bit more energy than usual due to the division rivalry. Both teams are playoff-caliber football teams, and this game could have an impact on which one makes it.
