Green Bay Packers Vs. Indianapolis Colts: Bold Predictions For NFL Week 9
The Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Indianapolis Colts this week in NFL Week 9 action. It is a game that both teams desperately need to win, although the Colts are in worse shape than Green Bay at this point in the season. Both teams have a lot of talent on their roster, although the Packers are favored to pull out a big win at Lambeau Field this week.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are coming off of a rough 33-32 loss at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons. They have been dealing with key injuries the last couple of weeks. Hopefully, they will have a couple of those players back from injury for this week’s game against the Colts.
Andrew Luck is playing at an MVP-caliber level so far this season for the Colts. There was a lot of concern about him throughout the offseason and he has shaken off all of the doubters with his play. Indianapolis is without question one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL this season, but they are looking to get back on track starting this week.

It is going to be interesting to see how these two offenses match up against each other. Both teams are capable of scoring big each and every week.
All of that being said, what bold predictions can be made for the Packers vs. Colts game in NFL Week 9 action?
Aaron Rodgers Throws for 300 Yards, Four More Touchdowns
Green Bay saw Aaron Rodgers light it up against the Falcons, throwing for 246 yards and four touchdowns. He has played well for two straight weeks and that will continue against a porous Colts’ secondary. Rodgers will throw for at least 300 yards and will hurl another four touchdown passes.
Andrew Luck Will Match Aaron Rodgers’ Production
While the Packers have one of the best quarterbacks in the league, the Colts have one as well. Andrew Luck is going to match the 300 yards and four touchdowns that we predicted Rodgers to throw. If you’re looking for a good show on the offensive side of the game, this week’s matchup is one to watch.

Green Bay Will Sack Luck at Least Six Times
Ryan Grigson did not make the Colts’ offensive line any better this season. Luck has been getting hit all season long and that won’t stop this week against a solid Packers’ pass rush. Green Bay will put pressure on Luck all game long and will end up sacking him at least six times throughout the course of the game.
Indianapolis Will Turn the Football Over Three Times
One of the biggest issues for the Colts has been turnovers, which will be an issue again this week. Green Bay will force the Colts to turn the football over at least three times. Turnovers could very well end up deciding the game, although turning the football over three times doesn’t mean that the Colts will necessarily lose the game.

Green Bay Pulls Out a Convincing Victory to Move to 5-3
If the Packers truly want to compete for a playoff spot in the NFC, they need this week’s win. Indianapolis is capable of putting up big numbers, but the Packers are without question the better team. They need to take care of business and they will end up doing just that in convincing fashion to move to 5-3 on the season.
Expect to see a lot of offense this week between these two teams. While they will both score a lot of points, the Packers’ defense will force turnovers and make the plays down the stretch to win the game.
