Miranda Lambert Reported To Have Met With Blake Shelton Privately While Publicly Keeping Their Distance At ACM Awards

Miranda Lambert secretly met up with her ex-husband Blake Shelton, according to Radar Online. The 32-year-old singer, who is rumored to be pregnant, has reportedly secretly met up with her ex while his current girlfriend Gwen Stefani was away.

The news comes as a shock because Miranda Lambert and Shelton had a rather painful divorce, but now it appears that The Voice mentor regrets divorcing his ex-wife. According to a source cited by Radar Online, the former lovebirds even secretly met up together.

The source claims that their secret meeting at a private event in Nashville was organized while Miranda Lambert and Shelton’s current partners, Anderson East and Gwen Stefani, respectively, were away.

“Gwen has always been insecure and jealous over Blake’s womanizing ways, but she’s going to be crushed when she learns he and Miranda are getting chummy again.”

If the reports are true, it means that Shelton lied to Stefani by telling her that he had no contact with Miranda Lambert whatsoever. But the country star first got cozy with his ex-wife at the Nashville event and then reportedly complimented his ex about how great she looks.

The same source claimed that Shelton has had “a ton of emotional baggage and guilt” since his divorce from Miranda Lambert last year.

“He told her he regretted how their split became so nasty, and even suggested he wished their marriage could have worked out. He also told her he misses her!”

Thus, the source suggests that Miranda Lambert and Shelton had a secret ACM Awards after-party meeting in Nashville, even though the two avoided public run-ins during the event.

In fact, it sure seemed as if Miranda Lambert and Shelton put in a lot of effort to avoid a public run-in during the event, because when Lambert was performing onstage, her ex was backstage and not in the audience, and when Shelton walked on stage, Lambert already reportedly left the venue.

But an Us Weekly source revealed that Miranda Lambert and Shelton didn’t ask ACM Awards organizers to seat them far away from one another and insisted that they didn’t interact during the event.

“Everyone at the ACMs knew they wouldn’t want to cross paths.”

There is also an ongoing rumor that Miranda Lambert could be pregnant, and that she even canceled her concerts because she is pregnant, but Gossip Cop soon refuted those rumors.

Pregnant or not, Miranda Lambert is still working on her upcoming album, according to The Boot. But the country singer has recently announced that The Weight of These Wings will be a double album.

It has previously been revealed that Miranda Lambert’s new album will be released on November 18 and will feature 24 songs. In fact, the singer has recently revealed via her Instagram account that the title of the first disc will be The Nerve, while the second one will be called The Heart.

Miranda Lambert’s fans are excited about the new album because they think it will reveal details about the singer’s divorce last summer from Shelton. But the country star told Billboard in August that it won’t be a “heartbreak album.”

“Because everybody has bad moments, and then you come out of it, and you have a great moment, and then you have some somber times.”

But Miranda Lambert added that every track from her upcoming album will reflect different states of her mind. And given that the singer has never held back in her songs, she’ll likely make a hint or two about her divorce from Shelton.

Miranda Lambert divorced from Shelton in the summer of 2015 after a four-year marriage.
