‘Stranger Things’ Halloween Costumes: How To Make The Wall And Other Great Ideas

Stranger Things was a huge success for Netflix. And, now that Halloween is nearly upon us, it is a treasure trove in regard to costumes. Here’s a guide on how to recreate the Wall or dress like Eleven and Barb, along with other great Halloween ideas.

The iconic wall in Stranger Things has become a fan-favorite item. Not only can you send people messages via the blinking lights on a Stranger Things wall app, but the Witches of Halloween have come up with a quick and easy idea on how to decorate your house in a Stranger Things-inspired way. You can check out how to make the Stranger Things wall in the tutorial video below.

If you are looking for a wall costume though, DragonCon was a great place to get Stranger Things wall costume ideas according to Bloody Disgusting.

Along with the Stranger Things wall, there are other great Halloween costume ideas that can be created for Halloween.

Barb and Eleven are, arguably, the most popular characters in Season 1 of Stranger Things.

Barb only appeared in Stranger Things for such a short amount of time before she was consumed by the Upside Down. However, fans fell in love with Barb, who was Nancy’s moral compass. So, why not raid your mother’s wardrobe for ’80s-inspired clothing to recreate Barb. Essential items include her iconic glasses, a school folder, and a ruffled high-buttoned blouse.

As for Eleven, there are a few different ideas. Some cosplayers have recreated Eleven’s short hair by shaving their head. However, if you are not quite this dedicated to Halloween costume ideas, why not don a blonde wig and a smocking dress to create the look below.

Other Eleven costumes could include Eleven wearing the headpiece used when Dr. Martin Brenner was experimenting with her. Or, perhaps you could don the costume she wore while floating in the submersion tank.

For guys looking for Stranger Things-inspired Halloween costume ideas, beyond the wall idea above, why not replicate Dustin’s look? A truckers cap, a curly wig, some corduroys and a teal colored sweatshirt are a quick way to replicate the lovable Dustin.

Guys also could replicate Hopper, the cop who sides with Joyce in the search for her missing son, Will. Stranger Things fans can don a police outfit consisting of a khaki shirt and Hopper’s easily recognizable hat. Perhaps you could even write, “Don’t say anything” on a piece of paper to carry from house to house when trick or treating just like Hopper did when he visited Joyce, suspecting her house was bugged.

Of course, if you are not partial to replicating people with your Halloween costume, why not dress up as some Eggo’s waffles to get your Halloween fix this year?
