‘Vampire Diaries’ 8×3: Will Caroline And Bonnie Die? Damon Salvatore Doomed? Artifact May Lock Sybil Away In ‘TVD’ [Spoilers]

The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 3 airs next Friday on The CW network. Fans can expect another action-packed episode according to the synopsis and an extended promo clip. It appears that both Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) will be in danger. Also, is Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) past saving? The artifact will be the key to reversing the mind control on Damon and Enzo and locking away Sybil for good.

TVD Season 8 spoilers are ahead. If you do not want to know what to expect on the next episode, then stop reading.

During Episode 2 of The Vampire Diaries, fans saw just how powerful Sybil’s grip is on Damon and Enzo. However, there was still a shred of humanity left in Somerhalder’s character because of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev). Unfortunately, Sybil got her eyes inside of Damon’s head. Knowing how important Elena is to Damon, she removed the girl and put herself in Elena’s place. It seems that all of the important memories involving Elena have been replaced by Sybil.

So, what can be expected in The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 3, titled “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving?” According to Spoiler TV, the synopsis reveals that Bonnie might be in danger, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) is still fighting, and Michael Trevino returns as Tyler Lockwood.

“As Enzo continues to fight the control over him, Bonnie finds herself at the center of a deadly game and forced to make a heart-wrenching decision involving two of the most important people in her life. At the Armory, Alaric (Matt Davis) researches a mysterious artifact that he hopes will help in their fight to get Damon and Enzo back. Finally, Damon’s downward spiral leads him to Tyler Lockwood who attempts to talk some sense into him before it’s too late.”

In an extended preview for the next episode of TVD, Damon attacks Caroline and Sybil issues Bonnie’s death sentence. While Damon is completely gone, there still seems to be fight left in Enzo. This was featured last week, although Sybil now knows that Bonnie exists. It puts her in grave danger, just as Enzo predicted. However, it is unlikely that they will die. Damon and Enzo have to be saved first.

It should be noted that The Vampire Diaries synopsis has a tagline of “Bonnie’s Choice.” This, along with the episode summary, reveals that she will have to make a decision. Fans know it has to do with the two most important people in her life, which are Damon and Enzo. Not only does her heart belong to Enzo, but there is more of a chance of saving him since he is not totally gone. However, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) might not agree. He is determined to save his brother no matter what.

With Tyler Lockwood returning and encountering Damon, it is unlikely a friendly talk will work. Stefan tried and it didn’t work. He wouldn’t listen to his own brother and Sybil took his last remaining shred of humanity. This means that Tyler certainly won’t be able to do anything either except get himself killed.

As for the ancient artifact, Georgie told Alaric that she believes it was made in Hell. With her own dark past and the symbol meaning something important, is this a big clue? Could this weapon or artifact be the key to locking Sybil away, this time for good? Fans will just have to keep watching to find out.

What do you think is going to happen in the next episode of TVD? Can both Damon and Enzo be saved? Will Caroline and Bonnie die or will they survive Sybil and Damon’s evil plans? Will the artifact be the key to getting rid of the siren and saving everyone?

The Vampire Diaries Season 8, Episode 3, titled “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving” airs November 4 on The CW network.
