Game of Thrones fans aren’t sure whether to believe their own eyes with the latest photographs coming from the filming of their beloved show, especially those surrounding stars Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow).
The Daily Mail confirmed that the Game of Thrones stars were filming in Spain last week, including scenes where the two were spotted together. In addition to Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke, another Game of Thrones favorite, Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), appeared in the leaked photographs.

The revealing pictures seemed to confirm one of the many spoilers a Reddit user leaked earlier this week about Game of Thrones Season 7 plot lines, Movie Pilot reported. Among the multiple spoilers posted was the first meeting between the characters played by Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke, according to the article.

While it seems certain that fans of Game of Thrones will see Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke in scenes together during Season 7, Bustle warns viewers against reading too much into spoilers posted about the show. Even the show’s creators have gotten into the business of misleading Game of Thrones fans as a method of diverting attention from other blockbuster plot information.
In addition to Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington meeting, the actor who plays Jon Snow thinks the character should be safe for Game of Thrones Season 7 after his resurrection last season. Kit Harington told the Wrap this summer that he was confident his character would survive the entire season.
“I feel like one of the safest people on Thrones now. Maybe I shouldn’t say that. He could die next season, but I felt very safe this season. Because if I come back to life in Episode 2, it would be awful storytelling if you kill me in Episode 4. So I felt a bit cocky this season.”
The Daily Mail reported that the scenes being shot thus far between Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage have been quite dramatic, including a scene where the Mother of Dragons was seen chasing after Tyrion Lannister. The two appeared to have a loud disagreement, according to the article.
Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage were joined by Nathalie Emmanuel for the intense footage, the Daily Mail also reported in a separate article. Emmanuel, who plays Daenerys Targaryen’s trusty sidekick Missandei, appeared to serve as a buffer between the two fiery characters during their filming sessions.
Filming for Game of Thrones Season 7 has been held at Itzurun Beach and Barrika in Spain. The cast and crew are expected to visit other Spanish towns for filming, including the San Juan de Gaztelugatxe islet.
Fans waiting to see Kit Harington or Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones Season 7 will wait a little longer this year. Due to a winter setting, production was delayed to allow the natural surrounding to match the storyline, USA Today reported earlier this summer. Game of Thrones Season 7 will also be shorter than usual as fans will only have seven episodes instead of the customary 10.
