Amber Heard And Johnny Depp Post Divorce, Who Are The Stars Dating? The Truth Behind The Claims

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have recently come through a very messy divorce that involved claims of domestic violence and restraining orders, as well as accusations of gold digger tendencies on the part of Heard. The pair were married for merely 15 months, all the while rumors swirled that the two experienced a very rocky relationship.

The former couple met while filming The Rum Diaries back in 2011 and began their romance that led to their short-lived and reportedly volatile marriage. Heard filed for divorce this past May while also seeking a restraining order against the star. Depp accused Heard of being only about money. The divorce was finalized following Amber withdrawing her claims of violence, while merely stating that she and Depp had a passionate relationship. Depp was ordered to pay Heard $7 million, yet the actress donated the entire amount to charity to demonstrate that she is not the gold digger Depp portrayed her as.

Since the dramatic divorce has been settled, both Heard and Depp have remained relatively out of the spotlight. However, rumors have recently cropped up that Amber is enjoying dating. But who is the actress seeing? There have been reports in the past that the beauty is seeing Elon Musk, but the most recent reports link Amber Heard to musician Brandon McCulloch. The two were seen together in Los Angeles this past week and just after this there were rumors sparked that the two have ignited a romance.

Only days ago, insiders spoke with In Touch and shared that McCulloch has been talking to friends about his relationship with Heard and stating that he is “dating” the actress, as Enstarz shares. Friends of the musician were reportedly concerned that Amber Heard is simply using Brandon to “rile Johnny up.”

“She knows how to push Johnny’s buttons. This might just be a fling, but Amber is vindictive and knows stepping out in public with Brandon, who was a guest at her wedding, will hit a nerve with Johnny.”

Although the picture is painted to make Amber look as though she is doing her best to twist the figurative knife even more in the side of her ex Johnny Depp, the claims have been stamped out as completely fabricated, as Gossip Cop shares. McCulloch himself has spoken out about the rumors, telling his fans via Twitter, “I’ve been friends with Amber for 12+ years! We’ve had many lunches and will likely have more.”

As for the reports about Heard and Musk, the two were linked months ago when Elon was apparently relentlessly pursuing Heard after the two had first met while filming roles together. Lately, however, the two have not been spending any time together.

As noted, following the very public divorce, which likely took a toll on both stars, Johnny Depp has kept a very low profile. However, the 53-year-old did step out on one occasion recently as he couldn’t pass up a chance to honor his pal Harry Dean Stanton, 90, at The Ace Hotel Theater in Los Angeles. The event included appearances and performances by John C. Reily, Kris Krsitofferson, Father John Misty, Harper Simon, Nara George, David Lynch and host Ed Begley. Depp also performed in a surprise cameo as he played guitar alongside Stanton.

People shares when it’s expected that Johnny Depp will next reemerge and take to the spotlight.

“The actor has rarely been spotted since his split from Heard, and was last seen back in August climbing aboard Saudi Prince Abdulaziz’s yacht in Ibiza, Spain. Depp will most likely be amping up his public appearances as he begins to promote his new film, Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which just debuted its first trailer.”

Amber Heard is also set to start promoting her latest flick in which she stars as Mera, Queen of Atlantis in Justice League.
