Two Ferraris Destroyed In Ridiculously Expensive Car Crash

Two Ferraris collided in a high-speed car crash on a Chinese motorway that ultimately left both of the vehicles destroyed in a extraordinarily expensive car crash.

The cars, one a California the other a Spider 548 were driving recklessly as part of an exotic rally near Shannxi, which is located just south-west of Beijing. They then lost control and collided on the Baomao Expressway which had been drenched with rain water.

The drivers were part of a convoy of Ferraris, but this accident meant these automobiles were instantly written-off and apparently left their owners and the insurance companies they are part of with an eye-watering $550,000 repair bill.

The $240,000 Ferrari California’s entire front end was completely wiped out in the smash whilst the $210,000 Spider was also completely demolished, the latter’s V8 engine of which was completely ripped out from the chassis of the automobile and left just sitting on the road.

The Baomao expressway is a hideously dangerous length of road in the country and over 40 people have been killed on this stretch of highway in the last two months alone. It is still unknown whether the drivers involved in this incident were injured.

Seven people were killed in a pileup on the Baomao road in early September when an truck rear ended four other vehicles whilst in late August, just a week earlier, 36 drivers perished too.

A methanol loading truck area was reported to have caused the violent collision which left several cars and buses burnt out with only their framework to show for the disaster.
