Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway have both received character posters for the upcoming motion picture Les Miserables, according to On the Red Carpet. After being kicked around the schedule for several months, the film is now slated to arrive in North American theaters on Christmas Day. To generate some buzz for the upcoming production, a series of promotional posters have found their way online.
The posters give prospective audiences an opportunity to see the actress’ up close. Amanda Seyfried’s poster, which bears the tagline “Heart Full of Love,” shows the Mean Girls co-star staring directly into the camera. As always, she looks absolutely stunning. Hathaway’s poster, meanwhile, gives fans a chance to see the actress’ character in “Les Miserables” before her long hair is hacked and slashed.
Internet Movie Database describes the film as follows:
“Prisoner 24601, known as Jean Valjean, is released from prison and breaks parole to create a new life for himself while evading the grip of the persistent Inspector Javert. Set in early revolutionary France, the story reaches resolution against the background of the June Rebellion.”
Amanda Seyfried has been a busy actress as of late. In addition to her turn in director Tom Hooper’s adaptation of Les Miserables, the In Time star will also appear in Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s Lovelace. The film finds Seyfried tackling the role of porn star Linda Lovelace, who quickly rose to fame after the success of Deep Throat.
In 2013, the actress will also appear alongside a star-studded cast in Justin Zackham’s The Big Wedding. Not only does the movie feature Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton, but Robin Williams, Katherine Heigl, Susan Sarandon, and Topher Grace will also lend their talents to the picture.
