In recent months, Miley Cyrus and her fiancé, actor Liam Hemsworth, have faced ongoing rumors of a possible split. However, the latest rumor the couple is facing claims they are not only together, but preparing to elope.
According to the report, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are planning to say their “I dos” in Las Vegas later this year after filming wraps on the soon-to-be-aired live episodes of The Voice Season 11.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth “have been talking about eloping on New Year’s Eve,” a source told OK! Magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on October 26, and they have allegedly decided on the Graceland Chapel in Sin City as their wedding venue.
They think “it would be a romantic way to ring in the new year,” the magazine’s source explained.

The magazine’s insider claimed that despite Miley Cyrus’ close relationship with her parents, she and Liam Hemsworth weren’t planning to copy Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus’ 1993 nuptials by eloping. Instead, Miley Cyrus was said to be well-aware that her parents would not be thrilled with her and Hemsworth’s elopement plans, but “decided they want to do things their own way.”
The insider also noted that the family of Hemsworth would not be on board with an elopement.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship began on the set of the 2010 film The Last Song, which featured them as a couple. Then, in 2012, their engagement was confirmed. From there, the couple appeared to be headed towards a celebrity wedding for the ages, but sadly, after Miley Cyrus’ controversial performance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, their engagement was called off, and for years, they dated other people.
From 2013 until 2015, Miley Cyrus was linked to some celebrities, including Mike Will Made It, Jared Leto, and Patrick Schwarzenegger, whom she dated for several months. At the same time, Hemsworth was linked to Nina Dobrev, Eiza Gonzalez, and January Jones.
Although the possibility of a reconciliation between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth appeared to be a long shot, the couple ultimately reconciled in late 2015 and by early 2016, Miley Cyrus’ engagement ring was back on.
