Taylor Swift Avoiding Selena Gomez To Party With Blake Lively & Cara Delevingne?
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have maintained a famously close friendship for years. But now a new report claims that as Selena struggles to recover from what she described as anxiety and depression related to lupus, Taylor is avoiding her in order to spend time with other members of her girl squad such as Blake Lively and Cara Delevingne. The reason isn’t that Swift dislikes Gomez, however, but it’s reportedly linked to a desire to jazz up her life.
Seeking a change, Taylor has turned to her friend Cara as well as Blake to “spice up her life,” an insider told OK.
“She’s bored and looking for a new challenge, starting with her social life,” explained the source.
“[Swift] loves the girls in her squad, [but is] not so close with the likes of…Selena [Gomez] these days.”
That avoidance of friends like Selena as well as Karlie Kloss has led Taylor to spending time with Cara and “cleaner-living pals like Blake Lively,” according to the insider.

OK headlined the story “All About Partying!’ Find Out The Shocking Reason Why Taylor Swift Is Using Cara Delevingne,” noted Gossip Cop, which investigated the claims that Taylor is seeking to “use” Cara because the former supermodel, now an actress, ” is all about partying and letting loose.” In addition, OK‘s source alleged that Swift wanted to “go clubbing and meet some hot guys as well as some of Cara’s hip fashionistas.”
However, Gossip Cop pointed out that the reason Taylor isn’t spending time with Selena is because Gomez is currently located in Tennessee to focus on her health. The allegation that Swift also is avoiding Karlie isn’t true, because Kloss and Swift have been seen spending time together recently.
As for Taylor suddenly shaking up her girl squad to spend time with Delevingne, they’ve been close for awhile. Rather than seeking out Cara to party more, Swift continues to enjoy spending time with her cats at home to balance her life, according to Gossip Cop.

When it comes to the report that Taylor is spending more time with Blake, Swift did visit Lively as well as Ryan Reynolds after they welcomed their second child into the world, according to Us Weekly.
“Taylor flew in and went straight to Blake and Ryan’s house,” a source told Us.
This wasn’t the first time that Swift had traveled to Westchester, New York, to enjoy time with Lively and Reynolds. The 26-year-old songstress also attended an event in August that celebrated Blake’s birthday and baby shower.

And when Blake and her husband Ryan showcased their love, Taylor celebrated their romance by almost drowning in “tears of joy,” noted Cosmopolitan.
Reynolds officially became 40 on Sunday, but Lively chose Tuesday to set off the virtual fireworks for his birthday. Blake revealed that their love originated at a Japanese restaurant O Ya in Boston and shared her love on Instagram as well as their romantic history.
Consequently, for his birthday, they visited the restaurant’s location in New York City, where it was time to blow up balloons and put on both bunny masks and birthday hats.
“We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY,” wrote Blake in her caption about the celebration. “Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a wh??le lot. Just sayin’.”
Turning to Instagram, Ryan expressed his appreciation to Blake, the restaurant and his children for “not ruining everything.” And all that social media evidence of the depth of her friends’ love was just too much for Taylor to handle without reaching for the tissue box. Swift headed to social media to gush.
“Thanks guys now I’m drowning in tears of joy,” she wrote.
