Shannon Beador Denies David Beador’s Mistress Met His Family: Is She In Denial?

Shannon Beador announced last year that her husband, David Beador, had been cheating on her for several months. She revealed that David had been having an affair for over eight months with another woman and she had been married as well. It was Beador’s own children who learned about the affair first and Shannon decided that it was best that they handled the situation as a family. But Vicki Gunvalson decided to reveal to the other ladies that Beador may not have known everything her husband was doing.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now revealing that what Vicki said about her husband is completely false. Gunvalson had told her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars that David had preferred the company of his mistress and he had even brought her home for dinners. It was only Vicki who brought this up, even though David’s mother did make an appearance on the show and could have said the same thing. Heather Dubrow admitted that she had heard the same rumors as well. So, is it true? Did David really bring his mistress home to his family?

“No,” Shannon Beador told the caller, who asked her about the mistress’ relationship with David’s family on Watch What Happens Live this week, according to Bravo, adding, “[Vicki] says she has proved this, that, and the other, no. Never happened. David’s mother never met her.”

During The Real Housewives of Orange County, David’s family showed up at an event and his mother started telling Shannon’s co-stars that she had pushed him to have an affair. She didn’t want her son to take any blame for cheating on his wife and she felt that Shannon Beador was a horrible person, who also kept her children away from their grandparents. But Beador reveals that it really comes down to respect. If she got some respect from his family, chances are she would show some back. But these days, it sounds like she’s not interested in working things out.

“It has nothing to do with the affair. It has to do with the fact that no matter how hard I try, my husband’s family doesn’t give two hoots about me. And it hurts,” Shannon Beador explained about why she’s not eager to forgive her mother-in-law, adding, “And especially for her to go down and say that one gut-wrenching comment that I drove my husband to an affair, nobody drives anybody to an affair. I didn’t make my husband do anything; he did it. So for his mother [to say that] when I’ve continually made efforts, it’s hard.”

Beador reveals that she had really hoped that they would be able to have a big family one day, especially since she has a small family. But based on their behavior, it doesn’t sound like that will happen, especially since they aren’t spending the holidays together. Beador has denied certain things about her husband’s behavior, so he might have convinced her that his mistress never met his family, even though she did.

“It’s a shame, because I have no cousins, both my parents were an only child, and I wanted to have that big family. So I love the holidays and having everybody come over,” Shannon Beador added about her current situation, sharing that she isn’t about to have an open door policy when it comes to David’s family during Christmas, adding, “I don’t know if it’s gonna happen this year. I mean, it’s not gonna happen this year. I’m not gonna keep throwing myself in the lions’ den. I’m kind of over it.”
