‘The Young And The Restless’: Who Should Raise Sully/Christian When Sharon’s Baby Secret Comes Out?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease we are days away from Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Dylan (Steve Burton) uncovering that Sully’s real identity is Christian Newman, TV insider reports. The news will come as quite a shock to the brothers, and they will be left blaming one person for the baby confusion—-Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case).

Dylan has given Sharon every chance to come clean about Sully’s identity and she has yet to fess up. She has stayed quiet about the secret and insists that Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is “crazy” and has “no idea why she would want to contact her.” Of course, the Young and the Restless fans know that is a lie and cannot wait until it all comes crashing down.

The fact is when the truth comes out on the Young and the Restless during the week of October 31, fans are wondering who will end up getting custody of Sully. It could be a battle between Sharon, Dylan, Nick, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and Victor (Eric Braeden).

It all started over a year ago when Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) faked Christian Newman’s death and handed him over to Sharon while she was a patient in Fairview. The one detail that no one knows is: Sharon was never pregnant, and the child she believes is hers—belongs to Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Adam (Justin Hartley). And, the baby lie gets even more complicated because Nick thinks Christian was his son, but he wasn’t—Adam was his father. The Young and the Restless indicated that Sage and Adam had a one-night stand; a rendezvous resulted in pregnancy. Both of Christian’s parents died so it is a big question mark on who will raise him when the truth comes out.

The Young and the Restless rumors have implied for quite some time that Victor would see Christian as his last chance to “prove” to Adam that he is a good father. The rumor stated that he would fight for full custody and would likely win. He has expressed guilt over how he treated Adam for most of his life. Could this be his chance to make it right? We’ll have to keep watching the Young and the Restless to find out.

Another option would be for Nick to agree to share custody of Christian with Sharon. He knows that she is a wonderful mother and Sully loves her. Is it possible that Nick won’t rip her away from the baby and merely demand for visitation rights? It seems likely that eventually, he may come to the conclusion that Sharon could be the primary caretaker; however, at first, it seems much more likely that he will come unglued and demand that she never see “his baby” again. Nick will feel as if she “stole” time away from his son and cast her out of their lives. The Young and the Restless fans have seen this happen time and time again with Sharon. They are expecting her to be public enemy number one and the whole town to blame her for Dr. Anderson’s horrible revenge plot.

The last option would be for Chelsea to decide to fight for Adam’s child to stay close to her (presumed) dead husband. Chelsea is a great mother and Christian would be lucky to be raised by her. Would Chelsea go against Adam’s wishes of having Nick raise him to stay close to Adam’s child? We’ll have to continue to watch the Young and the Restless to find out.

The only detail we know for certain is Steve Burton will be leaving the series as part of the Sully/Christian storyline. It’s likely he becomes so devastated that Sully isn’ t son that he decides to leave Genoa City for good. The Young and the Restless fans, who do you want to raise Christian Newman? When will Adam Newman arrive back into Genoa City?
