Maci Bookout always keeps a low profile in regards to her role on Teen Mom, and she doesn’t share much in regards to what fans can expect to see from her on the show. It’s no secret that she is serious about the show and she’s serious about what fans see, including how her children are portrayed. Just a few years ago, Maci threatened to leave the show if producers brought back Farrah Abraham. This was after Farrah decided to film two adult videos and get paid millions of dollars for it. Bookout didn’t want her son Bentley associated with it.
According to a new tweet, Maci Bookout is now hinting that she stood up for her co-star, Amber Portwood, who was slammed by Farrah during the recent Teen Mom reunion special. Over the past couple of days, Amber has been in the media for defending herself and her man during Saturday’s taping of the reunion special for Teen Mom OG.

During the show, Abraham lost her cool when talking to Dr. Drew about her co-stars and she blurted out that Amber’s boyfriend Matt Baier was a pedophile. There’s clearly no evidence of such a claim, and she clearly just made it to spread hurt and confusion. Rather than sit back, Amber decided to get on the stage and defend herself and her man. And later during the reunion, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell walked off the stage to show support for their co-star, showing that they stand united against Farrah.

“Inside the #TeenMomOG Reunion show: physical altercations, death threats, stage walk offs and more!” read a tweet from an account called Teen Mom OG, to which one person named Jordan wrote, “Had mad respect for Maci Bookout have even more respect for her for finally sticking up for herself, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell.”

This was a tweet that Amber Portwood retweeted, sharing the news that she had indeed gotten support from her Teen Mom co-stars. Maci herself didn’t say much about the reunion special on her Twitter profile, possibly because they aren’t allowed to talk about things they have filmed. However, Bookout did retweet several tweets, including an article about how the three women walked off the stage. Maci Bookout even retweeted a tweet from her husband, Taylor McKinney, who simply had a tweet that read, “Mic Drop,” and then had all of the girls except Farrah tagged.

Even though Maci Bookout’s husband didn’t share anything else on Twitter, Farrah’s boyfriend Simon had plenty of things to say, writing to Amber on Taylor’s tweet sharing that he should indeed let the boys fight it out.
“lol. Amber you should work on your aim. And Matt should have came after me. P*ssy,” Abraham’s boyfriend tweeted back to Maci Bookout’s husband, adding later, “thanks for the good laughs. Your clown act matched your makeup last night.”
“I’m too classy to respond to your ignorance..have a great day trashbag,” Amber wrote back to Simon, clearly showing that he doesn’t mean anything to her.

Maci Bookout has managed to stay out of the drama for the most part, but she’s clearly picking her side by her retweets and her walking off the stage. It’s no secret that the girls, including Bookout, were skeptical of their co-star’s return to the show after she was caught filming pornography, but they gave her a chance. They may regret it now, especially since she will say just about anything to hurt people.
What do you think of Maci Bookout’s decision to stand by her co-stars? Do you think these girls will be able to film the next season together?
