JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers from ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season continue to prove their doubters wrong as they seemingly scoff at the rumors that they are on the brink of a split. Many fans thought that a breakup was going to come sooner rather than later given how their post-finale “After the Final Rose” special went, but at least according to their social media pages, they seem to be doing well as a couple. What’s the latest from JoJo and Jordan?
Rodgers and Fletcher are living together in Dallas, Texas these days, but they do spend a fair amount of time apart due to the traveling that he does for his football broadcasting gig. Not long ago they traveled out East together and hit up the Mohegan Sun, but this past weekend it looks like they stayed together in Texas and embraced the opportunity to hit up the Texas State Fair.
Both JoJo and Jordan shared some updates via social media, and it looks like his brother Luke and some other loved ones joined in on the state fair fun. They took in a show by Christian rock band Needtobreathe and Rodgers shared a photo of the crew at the fair noting that it was “Friends Fried Fun.” One follower commented that they saw the Bachelorette couple at the concert and that they looked cute with their arms wrapped around one another.
Fletcher shared a photo from the day as well, and she joked about how they ate fried everything and managed not to throw up. These Bachelorette lovebirds may face their fair share of split rumors day after day, but Fletcher garnered more than 175,000 “likes” on her Instagram post in just a day, so these two clearly have a solid fan base that is rooting for them to make it.
Rumors about trouble in this Bachelorette relationship swirled even as JoJo and Jordan’s season aired, and the rumors have continued here and there now that the finale is a couple of months behind them. As Fletcher and Rodgers shared with Us Weekly recently, however, they stand united as a couple and insist that they aren’t bothered by the buzz.
Rodgers says that anybody who looks at their social media posts can surely tell that they are happy together and they did talk a bit about where they are at regarding wedding planning. JoJo and Jordan have typically kept things fairly vague in this respect, noting that his mother is quite anxious to see the planning begin, but admitting that they haven’t gotten very far.
JoJo and Jordan say that the key issue at this point is that they have yet to decide where to get married. The Bachelorette stars note that his family is in California, while hers is in Texas, so they have been torn over which place to tie the knot. They do indicate that they will consider televising the wedding on ABC should the opportunity present itself, but nothing has been locked in yet. Of course, if they do get married in front of network cameras, the event will surely end up being held in California.
There is no solid timeframe for a wedding between these two as of yet, with Fletcher noting that it will happen “Maybe next year sometime.” JoJo and Jordan are one of a handful of successful Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise couples still together these days, but so far, nobody has committed to a wedding date. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are taking their sweet time moving forward, while Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have indicated that they’re aiming to get married in 2017. Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray, and Grant Kemp and Lace Morris all remain together after Season 3 of BIP last summer, but none of them seem to be rushing down the aisle either.
Are JoJo and Jordan doing as well as they want Bachelorette fans to believe? They clearly have a lot of support and many are hoping that JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers do manage to make things work in their relationship and ultimately walk down the aisle. Fans will have to hang tight for now, however, to see what comes next for these two.
