Blink-182’s ‘She’s Out Of Her Mind’ Video: Adam DeVine & Naked Women

Blink-182. Adam DeVine. Naked chicks. The Blink boys just one-upped their hilarious 1999 video for “What’s My Age Again?” in an updated dupe of Enema of the State’s unclothed clip. Co-starring Workaholics’ Adam Devine as a “hot nurse” (in lieu of Blink’s original cover model, Janine Lindemulder), “She’s Out of Her Mind” features a trio of bare Betties recreating the amusing antics once perpetrated on screen by Blink-182. Watch the clip below.

“She’s Out of Her Mind” is the second single released from Blink-182’s July comeback album, California, and follows the premiere of “Bored to Death” this spring. California, of course, was the first new album from Blink bassist-vocalist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker with Blink-182’s newest recruit, Matt Skiba, the Alkaline Trio frontman who replaced former Blink guitarist and singer (and now UFO theorist) Tom DeLonge.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Blink-182’s “She’s Out of Her Mind” video was unveiled by Spotify as part of their Flash Frame series, a new franchise slated to celebrate featured musical artists in various genres. Spotify’s Flash Frame – Blink-182 California miniseries features five episodes full of Blink-182 nostalgia with footage of the band performing live and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of “She’s Out of Her Mind” with Adam DeVine.

Loudwire recapped the hysterical “She’s Out of Her Mind” video, describing Blink-182’s nude female replacements as they “mess with a costumed banana pitchman, wreak havoc on food truck patrons and turn the eyes of several passers by.” Just as Blink’s Mark, Tom, and Travis did in the original ’90s vid for “What’s My Age Again?”

When Blink-182 first dropped Enema of the State on unsuspecting audiences in the late ’90s, the Blink bros were just getting started in their hit-making career. In a recent interview with Spin magazine, Mark Hoppus spoke of Blink’s strengthened songwriting skills at the time of Enema’s release.

“I think that we were really hitting our stride, songwriting-wise. I think that breaking into the mainstream — it was just the right cycle of music for us. People were kind of over the boy-band, pop-princess, manufactured sensibility, and were excited for guitars and angst and energy and enthusiasm, which is our thing.”

Enema eventually spawned not only Blink’s smash song “What’s My Age Again,” the multi-platinum album also birthed Blink-182’s No. 1 hit “All the Small Things” and Enema of the State fan favorite “Adam’s Song.” Blink would go on to record three more albums with Tom before his exit last year.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, former Blink-182 guitarist-singer Tom DeLonge has been in the news lately for emails he sent to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, about a year ago. The emails were recovered in a WikiLeak dump of Clinton communications and contained portions of a conversation between the one-time Blink member and Podesta concerning the government’s knowledge of UFO activity.

DeLonge’s fascination with possible alien life is well documented; the musician’s UFO fancy was reportedly a deciding factor in his decision to leave Blink-182. The extraterrestrial interest of Tom’s extends to his post-Blink publications: DeLonge just issued a new book, Strange Times: The Ghost in the Girl, the latest tome in his Strange Times novel series that follows last year’s Strange Times: The Curse of Superstition Mountain. Also in 2015, Tom authored Sekret Machines Book 1: Chasing Shadows.

What do you think of Blink-182’s latest music video for “She’s Out of Her Mind”? Do you prefer Adam DeVine or Janine Lindemulder as the Blink-182 nurse?
