Kim Kardashian Quitting ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’? Insider Reveals Kim May Be Done With Fame

Is Kim Kardashian quitting Keeping Up With the Kardashians? That’s the latest question floating around on social media. Since the famed reality TV starlet was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, she’s been away from the public eye and insiders have revealed she’s not too interested in making public appearances anytime soon. In fact, Kim’s social media presence has also diminished. Now, a number of inside sources insist she’s trying to restructure her life and the changes may not include reality TV.

Although Kim hasn’t spoken publicly about the robbery, Khloe recently revealed how the traumatic experience has taken a toll on her sister. “It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great, and we’ll get through it together.” An insider also echoed similar sentiments, reports Hollywood Life.

However, the insider’s statement also raises questions about whether Kim will ever return to reality TV. “Kim is not ready to return to the show and discuss what happened in Paris. It’s way too soon. She’s still healing and that’s going to take a long time.” It has also been rumored that Kanye West is fed up with reality TV because their personal lives are broadcasted on national television.

He reportedly believes reality TV puts both his wife and children at risk.

“Kanye told Kim and her family that he thinks she is done with reality TV. He does not want his wife and the mother of his kids killed because of her family’s reality show!”

But, will she really walk away from the limelight? At this point, no one really knows her plan but it has been reported that the robbery has changed Kim Kardashian’s entire outlook on life. If she’s really serious about living a more private life, quitting reality TV may be the first step to achieving that goal.

The latest report follows a string of reports about the Paris robbery. A number of celebrities and insiders close to Kim have also shared their reaction to the robbery. As expected, people have had mixed opinions about the robbery. While some have brushed off the shaken reality star’s daunting experience claiming the robbery was nothing more than a publicity stunt, other people have come to her defense. But, one celebrity put things into perspective with a powerful quote most fans have agreed with.

Although the incident was quite disheartening, fashion designer and creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, noted the brutally honest truth about it all, according to Entertainment Tonight. Kim Kardashian may have brought the robbery on herself. During an interview with the Associated Press, Lagerfeld shed light on the dark side of fame and the consequences of showing off wealth on television and social media.

“We have to see in what time we live. You cannot display your wealth then be surprised that some people want to share it,” he told the Associated Press. Lagerfeld also questioned some of the aspects of the robbery. Like many fans, Lagerfeld wonders where her security was at the time of the robbery. “I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security,” he said. “If you are that famous and you put all your jewelry on [social media], you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room.”

The Kardashians are known for broadcasting their lives, but it looks like Kim’s life won’t be open to the public anytime soon. If her recent actions are any indicator of how she’ll handle things going forward, she probably won’t be displaying any wealth, or anything else, anytime soon. Kim Kardashian has been under the radar since the robbery and she’s avoided cameras at all costs. At this point, it is unclear whether she’s slowly trying to get back on track or if this is the new normal.
