Park Bo Gum And Kim Yoo Jung Are All Smiles As ‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds’ Cast Vacation In Cebu After Episode 18 Finale [Instagram Pics]

Moonlight Drawn By Clouds (Love In The Moonlight) has wrapped, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get to see two of our favorite Korean drama stars, Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung, together ever again.

As we can see on actor Bang Jong Hyun’s official Instagram account, Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung were all smiles as they enjoyed a well deserved vacation in Cebu after the Moonlight Drawn By Clouds episode 18 finale.

As All KPop reports, both Bo Gum and Yoo Jung have shared their feelings about Moonlight Drawn By Clouds wrapping up. Both Korean drama actors have expressed gratitude to their fans who helped them to cross the 20 percent audience viewership milestone during Moonlight’s run on KBS.

“To everyone who watched KBS 2TV’s Moonlight Drawn by Clouds all this time and loved the moonlight monarch Lee Young, thank you very much!” Park Bo Gum said via his official Twitter account. He paired the tweet with a video of him turning gracefully towards the camera in the traditional Korean hanbok he wore to play his character, Crown Prince Hyomyeong of the Joseon Dynasty.

On Instagram, Kim Yoo Jung thanked fans in the caption of a photo where she’s sitting in a bed of pink flowers in full Moonlight Drawn By Clouds Hong Ra-on costume.

“I’m thankful and thankful to all the viewers who loved Moonlight Drawn by Clouds all this time. May you always be filled with happiness…” she wrote in the caption, as translated by All KPop.

Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung didn’t just show their appreciation to fans on social media, they also showed it at their recent fan signing event in Seoul. The fan meetup was the fulfillment of a promise Bo Gum had made early in Moonlight’s run that he would meet and greet fans dressed as his character, Crown Prince Hyomyeong, if the show passed the 20 percent viewership milestone. Cast members Kwak Dong Yeon and B1A4’s Jinyoung were also in attendance.

As we mentioned before, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds met and surpassed that ratings marker. So about 200 lucky fans got the treat of meeting their K-drama idols in person.

But as Soompi reports, some fans got too eager and decided to give Park Bo Gum gifts which he refused. It looks like the 23-year-old actor has a policy against accepting gifts from fans. Some of the fan interaction with Bo Gum was captured on Instagram video. According to Soompi, at one point you can hear him say “I’m sorry” to a fan who tries to give him a gift.

This fan meet and greet would not be the first time that Park Bo Gum has refused to accept gifts from fans. As Soompi notes, the Reply 1988 star has been known to tell fans to “put the money in their savings” or “be a filial son and daughter to your parents” when they try to give him anything.
