Miley Cyrus Intruder Found Guilty Of Trespassing

Jason Luis Rivera, otherwise known as the guy who broke into Miley Cyrus’ house armed with a pair of scissors, has been found guilty of trespassing, according to Reality TV Magazine. Although Rivera pleaded not guilty to the charges, it was ultimately determined that the man had, in fact, trespassed onto the former Disney darling’s property without permission. As a result, he’ll likely spend several months behind bars.

The suspect was arrested on September 8 after he was spotted wandering around Miley Cyrus’ property with a pair of scissors clutched in his hand. When police asked Rivera why he was lurking suspiciously around the star’s home, he explained that he was Miley’s better half.

“I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years,” he suspect explained. Not surprisingly, the man was soon taken into police custody.

According to the Examiner, Rivera approached the door of Cyrus’ home at around four in the morning. Employees at the house told the guy he couldn’t come in, at which point the suspect began throwing himself against the front door. Police were summoned to the property shortly thereafter.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Miley Cyrus has had to contend with the illegal shenanigans of Jason Luis Rivera. TMZ reports that a restraining order had previously been filed against the suspect that was supposed to prevent him from going anywhere near Cyrus or her property. Apparently, Rivera wasn’t too concerned about the order.

In other Miley Cyrus-related news, the actress recently tweeted her support of Barack Obama, a post that came complete with a photo of Cyrus sporting a cut-off T-shirt and a photo of the President. Miley joins a growing list of celebrities who have tweeted their endorsements, including the much-maligned Stacey Dash.

The Miley Cyrus intruder, meanwhile, is preparing for his 18-month stint in jail for trespassing on the singer’s property.
