Kanye West Throws Massive Kim Kardashian Birthday Party After Paris Robbery Scare

Kanye West planned to throw Kim Kardashian a massive house party to celebrate her 36th birthday, just weeks after the scary robbery incident in Paris.

Kim was left fearing for her life when a group of people snuck into her apartment and held her at gunpoint, then demanding the reality star to give them her multi-million dollar wedding ring along with any other expensive personal belongings.

Following the traumatic incident, Kim was quick to fly back to Los Angeles, where she has been guarded by dozens of security members at her Bel-Air home. To say that the TV star has been struggling with the aftermath of the robbery would be an understatement, but Kanye West tried to make it up to Kim.

Having spent the past couple of weeks in hiding at her home in Bel-Air, West wanted to throw Kim the biggest birthday party with all of Kim’s closest family and friends. The rapper is convinced that it would help ease the 35-year-old back into normality — after all, she can’t hide in her house forever.

A source tells Hollywood Life, “Kanye knows Kim isn’t ready to go out on the town after being robbed so he wants to bring all the festivities to her, someplace where she feels safe, and he’s thinking home is best.”

Kanye West also felt the need to throw Kim an extravagant birthday party for the fact that he had to leave his wife of two years to continue his touring duties. Now that he has some time off, Kanye really wants to make it up to Kim and let her know that she has everyone’s support to make a strong recovery.

“He wants all her celeb friends like Amber [Rose], LaLa, Chrissy [Teigen] and John [Legend] to attend so it feels like she’s out and about,” said the insider.

“But a Kim party wouldn’t be complete without paparazzi. ‘Ye would love to screen and hire some photogs to snap photos of her beautiful wife while she’s celebrating her big day with her friends and family. Kanye just wants this day to be extra special for her and to make her smile.”

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian’s friends revealed on the reality star’s official website that the mother of two would not post or publish photos on her social media accounts for the time being.

Daily Mail believes that Kim is losing out on more than $1 million a month with her social media absence alone. Her move to stay in hiding for the time being has also caused production for Keeping Up With the Kardashians to wrap earlier than expected.

Any club appearances that Kim had planned for her birthday have also been cancelled. The socialite was looking at $500,000 an appearance, but due to the circumstances, she ended up backing out, telling friends that she’s in no position to party at a club following the traumatizing events that took place in Paris.

While Kanye West’s lavish birthday bash definitely excited Kim, sources stress that this wasn’t an over-the-top celebration. It was intimate but still very expensive.
