Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are ready to start a family, sources have revealed.
According to Life & Style, as cited by Gossip Cop, the couple is not wasting time in trying to figure out whether their relationship even stands a chance to last as long as they think it will, considering that they've only been dating for a year.
Two months ago, reports revealed that Blake had allegedly proposed to Stefani, and despite the fact that Gwen has been touring all over the country in support of her new album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, she still finds the time to plan for a wedding — this Christmas.

The couple has been discussing plans to eventually adopt if Gwen was to find herself having complications with conceiving — but either way, the couple seems to be on the same page with one another; they both want to be together and raise their own children together.

Life & Style adds that the discussion of adoption has also crossed their minds. If conceiving naturally and regular IVF treatments end up failing the duo, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will end up adopting their child no later than by the end of 2017, the source claims.
"They've started talking about adoption. Blake and Gwen both want a girl, and planned to turn to IVF to make their dream a reality," adding that adoption will be their final option. "It might be a baby, or it might be a toddler. But no matter what, they want to have a little girl in their arms by the end of 2017"

Stefani was left heartbroken when she learned about her ex-husband's cheating ways. Gavin Rossdale was alleged to have hooked up with other women whilst married to the "Hollaback Girl" singer, ultimately leaving her with no other choice but to immediately file for divorce from the man she had been married to since 2002.
These days, Gwen's main focus is that her three children, Kingston, Apollo, and Zuma, continue to have a close relationship with their father, having already worked out an effective parenting plan that has been working tremendously well for the divorced couple.
But with all that said, Stefani has certainly taken a lot upon herself: from touring to planning her Christmas wedding, wanting to have more children, and confirming her return to The Voice earlier this week.
Regarding their Christmas wedding plans, insiders say that Gwen has been actively planning her big day since the news first broke over the summer.

The report was later debunked, with a rep close to Gwen confirming that there was no truth to the story at all. Stefani is not trying to keep her children away from their father in a spiteful move because of what had transpired in the past. In fact, she's doing the exact opposite, making sure that Gavin continues to remain an important figure in their lives.
